I went into this book knowing barely anything about it and it turned out to be a very enjoyable read. It followed multiple perspectives and all tied together in the end. The world building was interesting, with some things being similar to what’s happening now, but with better technology to keep people apart and safe. I loved Elodie as a character and her development. Same with Aiden. I do wish we got more information on the Cerberus virus though. Hopefully we will find out more in the next one.

This was an ok book. The twist was alright and made a lot of sense, but the whole book itself just didn’t engage me as much as I hoped it would. I ended up skimming the epilogue to finish it. I don’t intend to read the sequel.
The writing style did not sit well with me. It would randomly go into the past with no indication in the middle of a paragraph and I couldn’t understand what was going on with the story.

I went into this book expecting a whirlwind romance. Instead it was a mystery that dragged on so much, that even the last few chapters were hard to get through. I ended up skimming the last 20 pages so I could say I finished it. Even the twist didn’t save this one. It would have been so much better if it was shorter and if we had actually gotten to see the relationship develop.
The writing style was similar to VE Schwab, especially when comparing it to her Monsters of Verity duology, so that was something good about it. It didn’t save it though and j think it’s safe to say I will not be bothering with Our Violent End.

I really enjoyed this book and I’m excited for the next one. The mystery of who killed Nolan and some other mysteries are very interesting. I also enjoyed all the different storylines of the characters and I wonder what will happen to them next.

I’m starting to feel like this series is dragging on. We know who the killer is, they just have to get arrested. I don’t think there needs to be more books, but I’m still going to read them.
It was still a fun read. We got more POV’s and finally learned Stacey’s secret. And the dialogue wasn’t as bad as in the last few books. They are still keeping me engaged, but I think it’s time to move onto something else.

This was just another trashy but fun read. The mystery just keeps getting thicker. Some mysteries from the first book have yet to be solved… but we now have a suspect for the murders.

This was a fun read. The plot was intriguing and kept me entertained the whole way through. There’s still some stuff we don’t know and I’m curious to find out about it all. The dialogue was very cheesy and the romance was awkward, but still enjoyable.

This book was amazing. I really enjoyed the mystery and trying to figure out where it was going to go. I like the ending a lot and I’m excited to read the next book.
However, I wasn’t really a fan of what the puzzles lead to. It didn’t completely make sense, but it sort of did in it’s own weird way. That’s why it got 4.5 instead of 5.

This book started off very strong. I was hooked right from page one. But then it kind of went into a mystery route where we got zero answers to any of the questions Laia asked. The dual perspectives was also a little confusing, but I can’t really fault the book for that.
