This was a really quick read. Just a fun little manga. I really liked the recipes and that they had to find different and sometimes strange ways to cook the monsters.

This is a very graphic manga. Lots of violence and nudity. I liked it, but I didn’t understand what was going on. If I continue on with the series, I might understand a bit better and like it more.

This book uses the miscommunication trope way too much. If peter had explained things better, he and LJ would’ve been fine. Still, this book is so cute and I connect with LJ in a lot of ways.

This book was so slow. Nothing interesting happened until the 230 page mark, and by then I’d switched to the audiobook, which I didn’t like much either. It just didn’t have the same impact as Godsgrave for me. I loved the action in that and craved it in this. I was so disappointed. Maybe I’ll try it again later now that I know what it’s like and I may enjoy it then, but for now I have to give it 2 stars. Sorry Jay.

Wow. That was a wild ride. This was not the story I expected when I first heard about it, but I’m glad it is what it is. Darrow is such an amazing character and I can’t wait to see what happens next.
