OMG THAT ENDING! After all that relationship drama that was put into this book I was ready to give up, but then the ending happened and now I just need to grab the next one. WOW!
This was a great reread. Like the first time I read it, I had a bit of trouble getting into the story, but once we got to the arena, it picked up. I loved the relationship between Katniss and Peeta and the fact that Katniss was able to play the role of strong female heroine with some vulnerabilities and insecurities.
This was a major step up from Soldier. Legion was more focussed on the action and a lot happened in this one. I liked the reveal of Ember’s purpose and the reason why she was so important. I can’t wait to get my hands on Inferno.
I will not be giving this book a rating. This DNF is not because the books was bad, it’s just because I am not in a very good place mentally. I did enjoy what I read of this book and will definitely be picking it up against at a later date. I think that if I was in the right mood for it, I would absolutely love it.

And love it, I did. I managed to finish this book and I’m so glad I pushed through to read it a second time. It was quite a complicated story that ended in a way I didn’t really expect. It sort of taught me to embrace who I am and not try to be who others want me to be.
Here are some triggers warnings. There’s a chapter that features animal cruelty/abuse and there are chapters that feature child abuse. They aren’t prominent in the book, but it’s enough to possible trigger some one who may have dealt with that stuff.
