This is my second reading and I still love Adam and Noah so much. They will always be my fave of the series.

This book mentions some really messed up stuff that has happened to both of the main characters so please check TWs.

It is a phenomenal "maybe" love story and it shows how trauma can colour all relationships going forward and affect how you see yourself and what you think you deserve.

I finished this a while ago and promptly forgot about it. It wasn't bad, but really nothing that brought it to life and made it memorable. I feel like at the times the author could have dug in and explored parts of the characters and their actions, things were skipped over.

I straight up didn't understand half of this book and it didn't matter in the slightest because the author is so bloody good at what he does.

I had a lot of fun reading this one, it was probably a 3, but by the next day I had forgotten it existed.

Meh, if I was to study it for a class I'm sure I could pull the clever bits out and sing it's praises but I don't want to.
It was whiney.

Sometimes I see a book and think "fuck it, im going in" and yes I saw this cover, read about how she gets a job milking Minotaur men and decided I was doing it.

And what do you know the world is bloody great. Don't let the regency era cover vibes fool you, it's set in the modern times and all the mythical creatures live amongst humans and well a great way for Minotaur men to make extra cash is by offloading their spunk. The more they donate, the more they get paid.

I love that the romance genre knows no boundaries.

Will I be going back for book 2, absolutely it has a mothman in it. Give me that emo bad
