Okay, this book left me feeling slightly conflicted. Not going to lie, I really didn't like the first 100 pages or so. Calla bothered me for some reason and then Jonah was SO mean to her! After their trip to the grocery store, I definitely liked Calla a lot more and still wasn't a huge fan of Jonah. He was just so mean! It took me maybe a third of the book to really start enjoying everything. I loved the growth between Calla and Wren. This was the main reason I kept reading. Jonah honestly grew on me throughout the book but he still was never my favorite character. He had some redeeming moments but i dont really like him! I did love Calla. I felt like I saw a lot of myself in her and really understood why she did things how she did. My favorite moment was when Calla shaved Jonahs beard. (he definitely deserved it) This book really makes me want to visit Alaska and see all of these beautiful places! but for now, I will stay stuck in the midwest and continue reading about these dream vacations!

WOW!! I loved this one! This one was so much better than the first in my opinion!! Jonah started out the book really rubbing me the wrong way. He just seemed like he wanted Calla to sacrifice everything she wanted so he could get what he wants. He blindsided her a few times and that made me not happy. He was a little condescending in the beginning. He had some unintentional manipulating moments that are hard to come back from. As the book went on, he grew on me and I started to like him a little more. I really loved watching Calla and Jonah find themselves together and in their new house and new situations. Watching Calla grow throughout her time and really find her purpose in Alaska was why I think I loved it so much. I think I related to her a lot in that aspect. I really loved getting to know the new characters and also seeing how Calla and Roy's friendship developed. I think it was so well done and I loved getting to see it. For as much as I dont like Jonah, I still love him and Calla and this entire book. I stayed up way too late reading it because I was just so engrossed in this story. This is one I will definitely think of for a long time!!⠀

AHHH. THIS BOOK!!! Please dont mind me if this is the only book I talk or think about for at least 4 months. This book was such an amazing YA Romance and I wish I could read it again for the first time! Isolde and Taylor used to be best friends until one fight ruined everything. 18 months later, Isolde gets her heart broken and Taylor decides to reach out. You watch as the two of them navigate the awkwardness that comes with talking for the first time in over a year and become best friends again. This book is told through emails, Skype calls, texts, instagram DMs, and Spotify messages and it is done so well!! Watching as they both slowly realize their feelings for each other and are convinced that the other will never feel the same way is adorable. The tension and the jealousy is so well done! Also, the Spotify playlists are INCREDIBLE!!! I had to make them into my own playlists just so I could experience what they feel and it was my best idea yet. I listen to them constantly (And so can you! I put my Spotify in the link in my bio and you should totally check them out!) ⠀
Overall, this is one of the best YA romances I've read this year. It is just so adorable and I felt like I was experiencing all of these emotions with them. I will definitely be reading this book again!!⠀

Dash and lily

I am having a lot of super conflicting feelings! I really liked dash and lily througjout the book! They were adorable with the notebook and I think they were super cute with the dares! I was pretty disappointed with how they met though... idk it just seemed anticlimactic after that honestly. The whole social media fame thing just didn’t feel necessary? It felt like after 70% like everything was just thrown in to kind of finish out the book! Many of you know that I ~love~ an epilogue and knowing what happens in the future and this book just ended. Like I didn’t feel like they even had a chance to get to know each other before it ended!! But I still liked this one! It was super cute and super festive for the holiday

Overall, not my favorite but it was still super cute! I don’t think I’ll be continuing with the series but who knows, maybe I will! I am super excited to watch the Netflix show though. It looks so cute!!

Okay so this was a good book (I think) but I just didn’t love it! I got serious looking for Alaska/paper towns vibes in not an amazing way? Okay something I really loved was seeing Ezra really come into his own and figure out what he wanted in life and not want everyone else wanted from him. He had a few not great moments but honestly what high school boy doesn’t? I didn’t like the way the book ended. I was disappointed that Cassidy said the things she did and then just left?? Ugh. I did really like the friendships between Ezra and the debate team! They all helped him learn things about himself and were good people to him!!

Overall, this was a cute book but not my favorite! I really like a happy ending and this was just “meh” in terms of that! I know a lot of people really like this book so I’m sorry I didn’t love it
