This book was the perfect enemies to lovers / fake dating story of my dreams!! Shay and Dominic are two opposite ends of a coin that just worked so well together. The tension between them from the first page is just absolute gold. Fake dating is always so fun to read and watch as they realize actual feelings behind the fake ones. The podcast aspect of this is also amazing. It’s so nice to read about radio shows or podcasts, they’re so popular now and I love listening to them. I definitely would’ve subscribed to The Ex Talk! Overall, I loved this one. It’s a super sweet (and sexy) book and I will definitely be recommending this to everyone once it’s released!

This book honestly has me really conflicted. I’m not usually a fan of “insta love” and I usually love a good “love triangle”. I liked Laura. She seems like a well rounded woman with good intentions for her small town. I didn’t like David. He seems pretentious and I just wasn’t a fan! I loved Spence. He is hardworking, selfless, and so cute. I wasn’t a huge fan of the insta love between Laura and David. I think it was just because I wasn’t a huge fan of him but some of the things he said and did just bothered me. I loved how steamy this book was. It was surprisingly super steamy and I really loved it! I didn’t like the cheating. Love triangles are tricky but the minute you get cheating involved, I just don’t love it. Something else I loved was the tourism marketing. It was done well and I love reading books about tourism marketing!!

Overall, this was a good read. I read it in about 2 days and I loved how the title ties into the end of the book. I think if you like love triangles and like a steamy romance you’ll enjoy this!

This is the fourth book in Alexa Martin's series and it definitely lives up to the expectations! This may be my favorite one yet. This book covers some very real topics that are effecting people today. Alexa Martin creates a wonderful world of characters and beautifully covers topics like racism and injustice within the league and in the outside world. This book felt very important to be reading during an election year were a lot is at stake,

Elliot was a great character. She was strong willed and dedicated. I loved that we got to see Elliot going through big moments in life while also still grieving for her late father. We were able to get insight on why she did certain things and how she was feeling in her every day life. I liked that Elliot had to have some really hard conversations about her own biases with her friends, herself, and Quinton. I also really liked how we got to see a lot of the friendship between the lady mustangs. It was nice to see that she had s very strong support system behind her.

Quinton may be my new favorite male character from this series. He is so passionate about the causes he believes in and wanted to make real change in the world. He had a lot on his shoulders for being the first player in the league to protest during the national anthem and I felt that Alexa Martin wrote his character beautifully. You get to see insight into his motivations behind his protests and learn why he is doing what he's doing regardless of the backlash from media, fans, and the league.

I do wish that this was written in a dual POV. I would've liked to see Quinton's thoughts and feelings as the book progressed and I think it would've helped explain a lot of his motivations better.

Overall, I loved this book. I think it captured the feelings of a lot of people today. It covered very relevant topics while also adding in romance. Quinton and Elliot were a great couple to watch grow individually to help them grow together.

Enjoy the view is the third book in Sarah morgenthaler’s series. They honestly just keep getting better! I think these two characters have been my favorite so far and also this storyline is incredible! Easton has been such a great character in the previous books, just trying to blend into the background and to finally get a piece of his brain was great. River was a great female character and I loved her determination and will. She was so focused on her goal and she achieved it. I loved how most of the story was on the mountain. I felt like I was climbing along side them (I also loved the marmot, so cute!) I loved how big of an aspect tourism plays in these books. Tourism is my jam and I love being able to read stories about tourism and the potentials it can bring. I did wish that this had an epilogue. I think an epilogue would’ve finished this book perfect! It didn’t need one but I am a huge fan of seeing what happens years from the last page!
