Three and a half stars, so I’ll round it up to four. A nice conclusion to this arc and a book that is actually better than I thought it would. I really enjoyed The Last Colony and feared this one would be boring. But it wasn’t. It adds some elements to the story and completes it. It’s probably the weakest book in the series so far but still enjoyable and worth reading.

The more I try, the more I realize that JLA books are mostly not for me… don’t get me wrong, it’s a good story with characters that I enjoy, but it didn’t resonate with me that much. Still, I enjoyed this one more than most JLA stories I’ve read.

A good continuation with likeable characters and a compelling story. I just love the way Scalzi writes, I can’t put his books down. It’s definitely better than Zoe’s Tale and now I’m eager to read the last book of the series.

A fitting conclusion to this great series. Very well planed, written and paced. I enjoyed every page of it.

4.5 stars. A good if not very original story. Brubaker and Philips still make a great team. I do feel that the Reckless “world” is not that deep and they should move on to something else… but maybe they can prove me wrong, we’ll see!
