I love this musical.

I think the musical translated well into book form. In the audiobook, we even got to hear a snippet of No Requiem which didn't take away from the fact that it was a book. I also liked that we got to see more Connor. Knowing his thoughts and feelings because that is not shown in the musical.

I'm just a bigger fan of the musical.

Superheroes... Adam Silvera... what could possibly go wrong??

Well first, I think there's a difference between cinnamon roll and crybaby. This book was also so predictable which was disappointing because his other books are so good. The only character I really cared for was Ness and he barely got any page time. This book had moments but my expectations were too high.

We'll see what happens with the next book.

Percy Jackson is amazing.

This graphic novel does not do the first book justice. They cut some of the best scenes in the book and I wasn't a fan of the artwork.

The actual series is absolutely amazing along with Rick Riordan's other series.

This was a nice prequel story.

It answers some questions about Hannah and Veronica's relationship, especially what happened in New York. It also finds a way to make the wait for the sequel more bearable...

And I can't wait for the sequel.

This is my favorite book of 2020!!

From page one this book was funny, entertaining, and epic. Alessandra is a strong female lead! Written so unapologetically fierce and determined, Alessandra knows who she is and what she wants and it's the most refreshing thing to see in fantasy. This book takes off running and it's wild in all the best ways. There are twists and turns and romance and witty, charming, fun, banter for days. This is a villains story. These characters do not care about being the good guys and with each chapter the story keeps getting better and better.

I could not put it down.

Vampires!

The Coldest Girl in Coldtown was a chilling and dark vampire novel that everyone who loves vamps should read. Holly Black treats vampirism as a pandemic and it was fascinating seeing this world come to life. The audio version really set the scene with a suspense soundtrack whenever something ominous was about to take place. I also loved all the different POVs and the arcs some of these characters go on.

I'm excited to read more Holly Black, especially after this great read.

Cute is just one of many I could use to describe how amazing this book is.

The story is so wonderful and uplifting and precious. These characters just want to be and love who they are. It's so amazingly written and drawn. I could just gush about this book for days, weeks, months, years.. eternity.

I love it.

I wish there was a sequel so bad.

I need more Nimona in my life. There are so many fantastic moments in this delightfully written and drawn graphic novel. Our shape shifting villain apprentice and her surly teacher make the best dysfunctional team. It's so nice to see how these characters grow and I loved every moment while reading.

I would love the opportunity to step back into this world and learning more about all these characters.

Eh...

The book is a take on beauty and the beast and it's not bad but it's not my favorite. Jaya's reasons for what she was doing didn't make sense to me and it didn't feel high stakes at all. This is a contemporary with magical elements, but no real magic from what I gathered, so it felt and read like teens at a boarding school causing their own drama.

The next book is about Kat though and she was great so maybe there will be actual stakes in that book.

Amazing. Wonderful. Stunning. Astounding. Extraordinary.

I don't even know where to begin. There aren't enough synonyms for amazing when it comes to the story, the art, the dialogue, the tweets. Bitty and the team will forever have a hold on my heart.

This is perfect. Now time for some pie...
