As a huge fan of the story of King Arthur and the multiple legends that surround his name, I was excited to see a story about Guinevere.
I enjoyed the story but... I think I had too much hope for this book.
It just started off so slow and didn't really pick up until about 75% in..
A lot of the characters where great. Mordred in particular. Loved him, he was great, no complaints there. Overall the book was okay and the magic system was pretty cool. Haven't decided yet if I'll read the sequel but if I find out there's more Mordred, I think I will.
funny hopeful inspiring lighthearted medium-paced

I loved this book.
Red, White and Royal Blue was a hysterical, and charming and wonderful book with sweet and confused and wonderful characters.
I could not put this book down. I read this book in one sitting and laughed so hard. It was so easy to fall in love with Alex and Henry.
This rom-com told a love story that was relatable and Casey McQuiston created a world that I could only hope to live in one day.

Knowing my love for mysteries and how much I really enjoyed McManus' first two novels, I knew I was in for a real treat.
Although I found the story predictable at times, I just found myself immersed in the characters and Bayview with all its drama. The story has such a flow with the multiple point of views that kept the mystery alive, up until the very end.
And That Plot Twist..........
I will read anything Karen McManus writes.

I liked this book.. and I liked the ending.

The end of the world is potentially eminent and these characters all have something they need to do before they, maybe, die because... aliens. It's a roller coaster ride thats funny and heartwarming with periods of doubt and sadness. The characters were all unique and had distinct voices that made this multiple POV story flow.

And again I really liked the ending.
