(4.5) wow. i don’t know how to describe this book.
the writing was so whimsical and charming. the characters were all fantastic, especially ophelia. there wasn’t much of a plot, but I still found myself in suspense, waiting to see what would happen next. i enjoyed every second i spent reading.
a winter’s promise was my most fascinating read of the year, and I look forward to the next installments.

christelle dabos is a genius. i have never read such a unique book in all my years, and words can’t begin to describe how much this blew me away. i found the mystery aspect of this novel to be very intriguing, and I adored the budding romance between ophelia and thorn.
the missing of clairdelune was thrilling and heartfelt, and I can’t wait to pick up the next book.
