I am not okay 

Lowkey forgot I read this like three years ago tbh!

I am actually just speechless. I actually do not have the words to describe how GOOD this book was.
Fredrik Backman does not disappoint!!! Ever!!!!!!

I cannot fathom ever reading any other book ever again in my life. Why would I read other books when I have this one.

That was the most breathtakingly gorgeous ending I have ever read. I had my reservations when the chapters began to drag, but as I kept reading and I neared the end this book redeemed itself. I love Circe, as a character. Yes she was wrong in so many ways and at so many times, but she grew from those moments and from her shortcomings and OH! I could just go on and on and on about this book.
100% a six-star read
4/6/24: this book is my Roman Empire. I think about Circe everyday. I love her! She’s just such an incredible character, and her LIONS! Oh, how I love her lions :(

This book is a masterpiece. It is a fast-paced, emotional, gripping masterpiece.

Minus 0.75 because of fucking GALE.

It was hard to rate this book, mainly because of the vast nothingness I felt throughout it, but I feel like that enhanced the experience! It was slow and gloomy, and gorgeously written. It was strange, but I so thoroughly enjoyed this book and cannot wait to read more Sally Rooney.

3/5/24: upon much reflection I have realized that I actually really enjoyed this. I love Sally Rooney’s very stream of consciousness writing style, because it feels very natural for me, seeing as I myself speak and type in a very stream of consciousness way. Bringing my rating up to 4⭐️s
