It is a fun setting with the Queen, but with the whole Netflix series about that it's a bit much for me. Too much overlap, and I prefer her Grace to be kept out of the everyday things. Solving the case would have been absolutely possible as well.
Damn such good twists. The way I feel about a person has seldom changed so often as it did in this book. And at one point it felt like it was coming to an end, but I was only halfway! Very very well done.
I thought I wanted a light feel good book, but this just didn't hit the spot . The drastic things that happen lack dept, and some small things just bother me (like the woman putting away a large ball of wool after an 8 hour flight in which she knit a number of beanies, if that ball was still big what kind of bag full of wool did she bring in het carry on) that just didn't seem realistic. The ending seemed a bit left open which is more like real life, but this is a book. Work in the treads. Make a nice finished beanie, not a raffled thing.
Perfect mix of great storytelling, a good build up and a tad of folklore
ending went quick but was good

Well I was a few stories in before I realized this was a collection of stories. I was so puzzled trying to make them work together. I started reading it as a sequel so yeah didn't read the cover...
But good stories. Stephen King his shorter works always have wonderful open endings that leave you guessing as to what could happen next. So was a good read all in all.

Good book but i kept hoping for some weird supernatural monsters to ruin everything. But in the end, humans are the scarier monsters.
Going back to the COVID years did awaken some memories i had almost forgotten. Frustrating times and all.

Wasn't for me, didn't get to know the girls well enough to connect before the shit hit the fan and just didn't get with the flow of the book.
Fun daydream idea that if you are nice, you will get everything you ever wanted because the universe will make it so. I'm not positive minded enough for that idea, but the daydream was nice
Good comfort story, you can see most of it coming from a mile away but the damn edging in this book makes it one of those where you want to scream to the characters.
