I like the switch of character, or maybe I prefer Donatella over her sister. Kinda hoping the next book is from
Spoiler their mothers
point of view.

Still not a fan of the predictable outcome of some stuff. Maybe I have gotten used to books where you keep track of a greater number of characters, but it would have been more fun if
Spoiler Dante and Legendary weren't the same person. Legendary could still be the heir. Also the release of the Deck after a moment of thought was just idiotic. So many other options. Get a chronically ill person to switch place or something. Srsly.
Just a tad frustrated. Need to read the third book asap.

Nah. I got all worked up, seemed that the story was ready for a big twist. Bit of sad in the end. Like that we know something about a characters future tho, that goes beyond the book.

In short, Scarlet is going to need a whole lot of therapy, and not
Spoiler be a happy everything worked out in the end so I'm happy now and all is fine
lady. Donatella is still one of my favorites, but I just find it hard how easy it is for them to go over trauma, while it has been such a focus point in the past books.
Spoiler I mean, she kills someone. Premeditated. And after that she is saved and fine.

Really hoped this book would give more insight into the mother, but alas. We are kept far far away from her.

Sometimes you need a breezy read, but for how light and shallow this book is, its just too long. If a book is going to try and do deep feelings, they should be able to touch me. I was unafflicted by the hardships and the ending, because I just didn't really care that much about the firefly girls.

It was easy to tell the writer had put her own life experiences into the book, but maybe it is the writers style or because the topics where hard for her, but it just lacked something. Best part about the book was the little triggers that make you go down memory lane.

This story is strange, like Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy strange. The humor was alright, I liked the journey of the read. In the end is only seemed a bit pointless.

This was just what the doctor ordered. The read was intense, it could have easily been a series instead of a single book. But it is wonderful to keep following the main character and watching her progress and grow.

Inspirational, but it feels like too little. Each of these woman is worth to write a whole book about. If you want to be inspired by an inspirational woman but not sure where to start, this is a great book.

Gorgeous quotes can be gathered from this book, but overall it comes over as salty and aggressive. The sentences are short and it might be the cultural differences, but the criticism is hard (and often correct) but not at all what I expected on a book about the history and meaning of tea.

It took me waaaay longer to read this book than just reading the pages. It has so many triggers that make you wanna go into YouTube, Spotify and whatnot. David Bowie? I'll go listen now. ACDC, let's go. Rick Astley duets? Let me Google that.
So i could have done this twice as fast, but it was more fun this way.
The writing style is nice, the story is wholesome. It's a nice little insight into the life of a musician who seems to have remained humble.

This book was but what i expected. The storyline is fun, unexpected, and feels so real. Small twist at the end, but hints are given early on so it is possible to foresee it with a connect the dots.
