Firefly Lane
by Kristin Hannah
Sometimes you need a breezy read, but for how light and shallow this book is, its just too long. If a book is going to try and do deep feelings, they should be able to touch me. I was unafflicted by the hardships and the ending, because I just didn't really care that much about the firefly girls.
It was easy to tell the writer had put her own life experiences into the book, but maybe it is the writers style or because the topics where hard for her, but it just lacked something. Best part about the book was the little triggers that make you go down memory lane.
