Did you ever see a movie and felt like well the idea and the story are great, but the acting was just appalling? Yeah, that's what this book is like. It felt inconsistent, the pacing was weird with whole moment that went fast and than had a sudden drop in momentum to revert to the first speed. Within a page.
These books are just like a Netflix series. 1 season, 7 episodes with a plan and each episode reaching a new step.
The dismay doesn't feel real, with everything you just know it is going to be alright soon.
But like with every bad series, i need to know how it ends

Ugh this is getting hard. This is one of those middle books in which hardly anything happens to progress the story. New elements are introduced, but the story gets rushed and you just get shallow information instead of interesting deep lore.
Plot twists for the sake of plot twists, changing facts from previous books to suit the new books needs. Hardly any progress, but making the idea of the plot for the next book obvious...
Just 1 more. I still like the idea of this story, but I want a rewrite.

Oh wauw, I can't believe I did it. Never again.
So many plot holes. So many ways in which the writer has mangled his previous books to make it fit the ending. Such a lot of unnecessary kills (I hadn't even had the change to become emotionally invested in the characters he kills, so I'm unsure what the goal was)

This was a nice read. Had some good plot twists in them, nice rhythm, and characters that you could believe in. The character curve is one you can taste, but it is part of the YA genre, so that's good.
I can see how this book was such a great inspiration. It feels like an honest view of Hamiltons life, for as far as we can tell. It leaves room for some speculation as well. Very well written, nicely paced, filled with good anecdotes.
Do I like Trump?
No
Was I expecting something else from this book?
Yes
Did his niece cash out?
Yes
When I heard about Mary her credentials and insights, I expected something. I know it is not ethical to diagnose your own family and friends, but given the circumstances I was going to let that slide. I did expect something a bit more clinical tho. This was more of a life story of what is was like for a Trump to grow up and how bad parenting leads to bad kids.
In the meantime, she seems the type of person that loves to be the black sheep. I mean, it wasn't really necessary to emphasize the ways in which she is different from the other Trumps. The book was going to be about why Donald was a bad president.
Hints are given (the way he conducts business while in his office) as to why he is no good for office, but she never sets conclusions, which the book would have profited from. All in all I learned almost nothing new.

Great idea, good execution, marvelous plot twists.
