I loved this book so much. As someone who struggles with their gender identity Sol’s story of how he became who he is now is not only relatable but inspiring. If you are not trans or struggle with your own identity I would say that Sol is very good representation of how individuals feel and how the world works against them. How one person can come in and change your life for the better and for Sol that was Yohan. Their relationship was the purest form of love I have ever seen. Seeing how Yohan excepted Sol immediately and built him up constantly to be the best he can be was so beautiful to see. To see how Yohan went from closed off and scared of showing his feelings ever to being the most emotionally stable and intelligent person in the whole book was amazing. I will say I finished this book in a day. I am very proud of how the trans representation was done in this book. It was respectful, realistic and relatable. Loved this book.

It was predictable and honestly didn’t hold my interest too much. Was disappointed that she talked about how she hated the king so much but the minute she saw him she was sexually attracted to him. I also thought the other guy she brought home was going to be her love interest so that was upsetting. I really enjoyed the magic in this and how they’re actual practicing witches. Very rooted in the character’s culture. That was my favorite aspect of this book.

This is definitely my favorite book of the series so far, I have one left to go. I enjoyed the dynamic between not so much at first but definitely in the middle and end. I finished this really quickly so that tells you how much I liked it. I love Ava and Alex. Did think the plot twist of who offed his family was WAY too obvious. And this book made me fall in love with Josh.

This was a quick fun read. Read it in just two hours. I did enjoy it but I wish it was longer but that’s my fault knowing it was short.

I was stressed during this book so much, so I guess I learned that I do NOT like princess x bodyguard trope. If I am being completely honest this book was just not for me. Rhys just not at all hiding how he feels for her around literally anyone mad me so mad. Like Rhys you know what this could do to her but you just did not care.

While I did like this book I think that it could have been shorter. There was no reason it needed to be as long as it was. To me it was really predictable. I also think that how Jules solved her biggest issue that plagues her entire life was unrealistic. I love the dynamic of their relationship but personally it was boring.

Yes yes yes. This is so perfect to me. The only reason it isn’t higher is because the ending is a cliffhanger. Made me absolutely fall in love with Aren. I have not liked a love interest this much in so long. I definitely need to read more books with pirates (even though they aren’t). The new concept was so interesting to me. The bridge being what holds up and takes down Ithicana is so beautiful, knowing that they can’t live without it but that it is their downfall. Lara is such a badass, and I love her. She can do no wrong in my eyes. She deserves Aren after what she was put through her whole life. Lara and Aren deserve more books.

I love this series and book. I wish the ending showed them together longer but other than that I have no criticism. It was flathead perfect mix of fun and emotional. I am so upset that I have to part ways with Lara and Aren. Aren is definitely one of my absolute favorite book boyfriends to date. The way he loves and yearns for Lara was so beautiful. I love how they both save each other risking their own lives for the other. 100% recommend this series.
