I loved this book so much. As someone who struggles with their gender identity Sol’s story of how he became who he is now is not only relatable but inspiring. If you are not trans or struggle with your own identity I would say that Sol is very good representation of how individuals feel and how the world works against them. How one person can come in and change your life for the better and for Sol that was Yohan. Their relationship was the purest form of love I have ever seen. Seeing how Yohan excepted Sol immediately and built him up constantly to be the best he can be was so beautiful to see. To see how Yohan went from closed off and scared of showing his feelings ever to being the most emotionally stable and intelligent person in the whole book was amazing. I will say I finished this book in a day. I am very proud of how the trans representation was done in this book. It was respectful, realistic and relatable. Loved this book.
