My mom used to read this to me before bed, so much happy nostalgia.

It was a good premise but just not what I expected. I’ll probably reread this someday and re-review it. Just wasn’t what I wanted to read right now.

At least it had short chapters.

This book gave me major Beach Read vibes in all the best ways. I loved the tropes and their executions. And it’s no secret that I adore Conwell’s writing. I can’t wait for book two!

Why does my school pick the worst summer reading??

I really enjoyed this retelling! It brought the classic myth into the modern age in a well portrayed way.

I loved this ya rom-com so freaking much!! It was adorable and the fmc was so relatable. I will say that I was confused on the time period because the language leaned modern but the use of carriages felt very historical.
