I absolutely DEVOURED this book. I am obsessed and I desperately need the second book. How does Dugan manage to blow me away every single time? Like my expectations are high but each time she exceeds them beyond a scale. The characters were so developed and I felt as if I knew them myself. The plot was incredibly captivating and I was on the edge of my seat the whole novel. I anxiously await the next installment and cannot recommend this book enough.
I have no words for how much I treasure this poetry collection. I have related to each poem in some aspect and found myself in the pages. The collection is short and yet it sticks with you no matter how long ago you read it. The lines float around in my head as I move through my day, reminding me that I’m not alone. Thank you Meg for this gift.
I really enjoyed this book! It was the perfect mix between a fantasy and supernatural with a fun cast of characters.
A quick and interesting read! All the characters are fascinating and I really enjoyed the story!
I’ve been looking forward to this book since I finished the last one so it’s no surprise that I dropped everything the moment the arc popped up in my email. This story is so close to my heart and the ending made me tear up. It was the perfect conclusion to Evy’s story, emotional and magical. I don’t have the words to express the love I have for this book, all I can say is that this series is a must read. Wik is truly a fantastic writer and I can’t wait for her next project.

The moment I got my advanced copy I started reading because I was sooo hyped for this anthology. Seven deadly sins? I mean AWESOME. And let me tell you that I was blown away in every way imaginable. I couldn’t put the book down. Each character was so well written and so captivating that I could have read triple the amount I did read and not have been bored. This is an absolute must read (check trigger warnings at beginning of book).
I read this book over a month ago and I still cannot get over how absolutely amazing this book was! In the review on the back of my book Midnight Maiden was described as, "The Selection's political intrigue and heart-pounding romance meets Throne of Glass's cutthroat justice" and I couldn't agree more! I loved both of those famous series and I loved this book (and its sequel) just as much if not more! There really are not enough words to describe how much I adore this series. The writing style was just perfect and a fantastic fit for the suspenseful, romantic, daring, story that Kathryn Marie spins wonderfully. Christiana was a stunning character that was strong in a way women aren't often portrayed in many novels, she was a fighter but knew when to lean on others for support. I also really appreciated the dedication Marie had to showing that abuse affects people long after it ends which is also not a very common narrative in novels (not to say that it doesn't exist). I don't want to go into too much detail and risk spoiling the book but I would just like to say that Midnight Maiden is in my Top 3 Favorite Books of All Time. Thank you Katheryn Marie for writing such a compelling narrative and I can't wait to see what you have in store for your readers next! Lots of love!!
