I don’t want to review this book because it is a deeply personal account of a person’s life. But that said, I think this is a very important book to read.
I enjoyed the novella when it was printed but I love this graphic novel adaptation! I really hope I get to see this incorporated into the Netflix series.
I don’t know how to feel about this book. It had some good lines and some scenes were quite fascinating. But otherwise I was bored. I might recommend it to some people but very few.
Beautiful poems about self love and self discovery. This collection really resonated with me.
A relatively quick read once I sat down and focused but even that was hard because I didn’t feel particularly invested. I understood why Julie was so uninvolved in the aftermath of Sam’s death but without the investment in their relationship I didn’t particularly care about her emotional journey. I had expectations (unfortunately) thanks to Bookstagram which were failed. Had there been no hype I would have enjoyed this book more.
