I really loved this book. The the mc was so much fun and I loved the concept behind the story itself. I thought having a gender fluid mc would be confusing but since the book was told in first person I wasn’t confused at all. The rep was incredible and I highly recommend.

A quick and fun read! I enjoyed the new take on Arthur and “Guinevere” was a fascinating character. I’m excited to read the rest of the series.

I am in love with this book. Enne and Levi are incredible and the storytelling was perfection. I am so glad I have the rest of the series so I can keep reading!

Loved this sequel! I’m so excited to continue the series!

I’m so sad that this series is over. It was a delightful rollercoaster of emotions. I cared deeply for all the the characters, even the ones without povs, and it was fun getting to see how their relationships with each other changed.

I’m confused. This book doesn’t deserve the hype. There were annoying changes in the timeline that really just didn’t make sense. And the love interests were annoying. Conrad and Jeremiah were absolute jerks. Conrad was portrayed as this bad boy but guess what, he’s actually really abusive and it’s romanized that he keeps treating Belly poorly (like Edward from Twilight). And Jeremiah tried to guilt Belly into dating him and he kissed her without permission even after she said that she didn’t want to be kissed (like Jacob from Twilight) And Cam wasn’t even a real love interest. Belly was just using him to make Conrad jealous. Anyway, this was a short book but it would have been shorter if Belly wasn’t a Bella-type character. But then again there might not be a book if this wasn’t Twilight without vampires.

I don’t understand why I kept reading. It’s still bad.

Idiots. They’re all idiots.

This was a bit of a slow read for me. The plot dragged in some places and I felt that I’d already read the basic idea. There wasn’t really anything wrong with this book but it wasn’t really for me.

Thank you to NetGalley for the arc.

I really enjoyed this book! That being said, it is not for the squeamish. The entire plot of the book focuses around murder, more often than not it is murder of the gruesome type. I loved the take on the idea of a school for killers and I thought it was excellently executed. I was a little confused in the beginning about the flashbacks but everything was tied up at the end. I also really liked Ana's character arc. She goes from being confident and withdrawn to scared and emotional. That's not an arc that I see often in literature so it was a treat to see it portrayed here.
