I really enjoyed this book! My favorite aspect was that the main character was not the lost queen for once. The only reason it’s not a five star book is that the romance was not it for me. The age gap was too much for me, but then I’m rarely ever a fan of age gap romances.

This book was darker than the previous one in a way that bordered disturbing without crossing the line. I loved all the female friendships. I also adored the ending, it was so sweet and perfectly written.

What can I say, I love Kemmerer’s writing. I loved jumping back into the Cursebreaker world and meeting a whole new cast of characters. I devoured this book and despite its length, it was still a quick and captivating read.

The premise of the book was promising but the book itself was tedious. The story felt elongated to the point where random stuff was happening to fill the blanks. I was also confused about why supporting characters were getting pov chapters.

A very good book but unfortunately not a fast paced one. I admit I was confused while reading but that is most likely because I read the first book years ago. Overall I really enjoyed it.

This is a mystery unlike anything I’ve read before. I was hooked throughout the whole novel and I when I reached the end I wished there was more. It was so fast paced and the characters were so deep that I adored every aspect of the book.

While things may not be completely accurate, the book was fascinating and provided a number of new perspectives on the case itself. I enjoyed learning some new things about the aftermath of the war and and about key figures in the hiding of Jewish people during the war.

This is by far the best book I have read so far this year. I don’t really have the words to express how this book made me feel. I was squealing and laughing without end and I forgot I was actually reading a book.

Please no. Everything about this book was terrible. Without question the worst book I’ve read this year. The mc was beyond annoying and the amount of pop culture references had me banging my head against a wall. The supporting characters weren’t any better and the plot was so incredibly generic.

Just a bunch of teens making terrible decisions for 370 pages because it’s the end of the world.
