I enjoyed this book but to me it is really overhyped. I didn’t really see what was so special about the characters or the plot. It was a really good book but it felt way too generic for me to give it 5 stars.

One of my most anticipated books of 2022, I Must Betray You did not disappoint! I have loved every single one of Sepetys’s books and I am so glad I loved this one too! It was so full of captivating twists and turns that I couldn’t put it down! It was such a quick read too! 100/10 recommend!

I’ve been putting reading this book off for a while because I didn’t want it to be one of those really hyped books that turned out really bad but oH MY GOD IT WAS SO GOOD! I can’t believe that I have to wait to read book 2 until next month for bookclub.

This book was one of the most moving novels I have ever read. The poems were so incredibly powerful that they moved me to tears. This book is a must read.
