As I write this I am sobbing because this book broke me in all the best ways. It reminded me a lot of the Stalking Jack the Ripper series which I loved but it also had its own distinct features. I would sell my soul to read this book for the first time again.

I didn’t enjoy this book as much as the first. West was a jerk and the redemption arc felt forced.

I really liked this book! It came highly recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint! The only reason I’m taking away a star is because the plot was very jumpy and the story took a while to actually get into.

I really only enjoyed the last third of the book but the ending was so good that I had to give it four stars.

This is not a series that I particularly enjoyed. It was a drag and while it technically wrapped up cleanly, everything was too convenient. I would recommend reading the Goddess Test trilogy instead.
