It's honestly been awhile since a romance has made me feel any kind of way. This book was so cute, and left me so happy and emo the entire time that I couldn't help but love every character and every moment I spent reading it.

Not my favorite Shakespeare play by a long shot. I think it was funny, but not altogether memorable.

This is one of my favorite Dr Suess works, and probably my favorite Christmas story. I absolutely adore it.

This was a very fun, atmospheric book. The art is gorgeous, and the story is fun and engaging. I was surprised how quickly it sucked me in.

The art was very nice, but the story didn't really pull me in. I just didn't really connect emotionally.

Equal parts hilariously relatable, and awkwardly real, this novel was something I really enjoyed. I laughed a lot, but I also love seeing other women who are awkward around women written in such a real way. Fantastic read.

I think it was an interesting story, and the characters were cool, but the plot itself and the background and context were a bit hard to follow. The motivations of the characters were also either not clear or absent altogether.

Ice Cream Bus: 4/5, this is a story that I can cite as one of the main reason I will never have children.
House of Friends (Gang House / Club House): 4/5, I liked this weird Romeo+Juliet-esque dynamic of opposing social ground in one house. The ending reminds me a lot of the mannequin story Ito did in another volume. It has good tension, literally kkk.
Tobacco Club (The Smoking Club): 2/5, someone hired Ito for an anti-cigarette commercial I guess?
In Old Records (Second-hand Records): 5/5, this is a fantastic story. It's very suspenseful and interesting, with equal doses of creepy, accidental murder, and questionable morals. I loved it!
Den of the Sleep Demon: 5/5, I also really enjoyed this story! It was pretty disturbing and that body horror is some of my favorite Ito has done!
Gift Man (The Gift Bearer): 3/5, a very meh story that I really never got the plot line for.
House of the Marionettes: 4/5, I didn't enjoy this one as much as other Ito enthusiasts seem to. I just didn't really care for any of the characters and thought the story was suspenseful, but just okay. The body horror was good, but it's not my favorite.

A great follow up to Akata Witch. I loved seeing Sonny grow in this book and really step into her powers and abilities both with magic and daily life. I think this book really took the world built in the first one and made it explode. Fantastic work from the author, as always.
