Barely a third of the way through the series and I’m already tired of Naraku .
While I loved the art in this novel, I felt like the story lacked some real drive and character building. I really felt like the Voodoo wasn’t given its full due, and was more interested in the side characters than Raven herself. All in all, not that impressed.
A great conclusion to a tangled web of storylines to be sure. I really loved this whole series and the directions Mignola kept taking the readers. Highly recommend!
Not as good as literally anything else by Green. I skimmed most of this book because it was just so tedious.
Probably one of my favorite plays by Williams. I just love the drama and the initial mystery in the play, and then the natural occurrence that every Queer Southerner sees coming. Love it! One of William’s best in my opinion.
It’s just not good. I don’t care if Zelda Fitzgerald herself, who probably wrote the notes for this book and her husband stole them, came back to life to tell my why it’s good, I still wouldn’t agree with her.
One of those scary stories I remember fondly from childhood. I really think this short story is better done as a stage performance over a straight read.
I loved the art and concept behind this novel. I think that there could have been more in the way of plot, but overall it was a really fun read!
This is one of my favorite Bradbury shorts. I just love any and every discussion I’ve ever had with people about this story and thinking about the consequences and ideas it brings up.
As much as I don’t like Souichi I think this story does a good job of building up his character for later stories. It was also pretty funny by the end.
