This story was just really boring. It wasn't really shocking or scary, and was mostly forgettable.
This was a really funny story! I was absolutely obsessed with the art and the layout. It's really original and engaging. All of the characters were interesting or lovable, and you're really pulled into the mystery in a convincing way. I'll be watching for volume two!
Martin Luther King and the Montgomery Story
Alfred Hassler, Fellowship of Reconciliation, Benton Resnik
A really short comic, but I really like the historical aspect/importance of it. I think it's a good artifact to use for teaching/learning about the Civil Rights Movement and explaining more deeply what King's movement specifically taught and trained people to do.
An interesting concept, but not all together interesting on paper. I think it drug itself out for quite a bit, and didn't have a lot of conflict to keep my attention.
It was cute, but only in a way that's banking off of Hamilton. I don't really feel like the story was all that interesting, and I couldn't find myself interested in most of the drama. The daring rescue of Eliza's virtue or whatever was probably the most compelling part.
I feel like I'm still reading this series just to see Sessoumaru's character development.
One of my favorite childhood classics. I absolutely love Eric Carle's artwork, style, and stories.
A really touching memoir. I really enjoyed Michelle Obama's voice and the way she discussed her life. It was a book that made me cry and laugh quite a bit. Probably one of my favorite memoirs I've read in awhile.
This story was so simple and touching. When I say simple, I mean that it's a story that easily speaks to you, and leaves you feeling the emotions the author wanted to communicate so easily. An absolute classic.
