I didn’t find this book to be believable, mostly because of how quickly the prince fell in love with the protagonist. It seems to make her appear not as ugly as she wanted us all to believe, despite her not having any other redeeming quality besides her singing. Altogether, not an interesting story.

I didn’t really see this story as having much in the way of plot, or concept. I think it fell very flat and wasn’t scary at all for me. Extremely forgettable.

This volume really takes the suspense up a notch. Having your main antagonist and protagonist (I guess) working together makes for a very tense story. I’m a big fan of L’s character and hope to see him develop in later volumes.

Probably my favorite Percy Jackson novel, I particularly love Tyson and the small amount of character development we get for Clarisse. I really think she deserved more time in the books. I like how the world expands for our trio as well!

This is probably one of the more pointless Ito shorts I’ve read. I just don’t think it serves much of a purpose and also has no real believability or build up, and then just kind of fizzles out.

I liked this story a lot! The conflict between friends and the mystery around why some girls were getting pretty and some weren’t was very compelling. Probably one of my favorite Ito shorts.

The information was a bit basic, but still a fun read. Since it’s such a short book I think that made it more enjoyable. I liked some of the bits about how Pisces manifest anger and their interests.

The art, coloring, and style of this comic are wonderful. It’s absolutely beautiful. I think the story line is a little weak in places, but I really enjoyed the choice to write it in sonnet form. Altogether it’s a quick read that I’d recommend!

The illustrations were nice, but the overall effect of splicing together different poems to make a new poem didn’t do anything for me. It felt forced and I felt like I had to force myself to finish it.

This was a dud for me. I felt like the dialogue was very forced and unauthentic, and I could never attach myself to the characters. I never got interested in them or the story.
