I’m disappointed I didn’t like this more than I did. But I think Murata’s novels are much more compelling than this. A few stories were interesting, but overall I wasn’t a fan.

I would die for Paris Hilton. A very open and heartbreaking memoir. I appreciate how she acknowledges and breaks down her own privilege while also showing how she was still vulnerable. I loved being able to see her struggles and how she used them to make her life what it is now. 

Beautifully written, but ultimately not something I will really think about again.
