This story was odd to say the least, but I really liked the creepy turn and imagery it took. The eyes really did it for me and I liked the tie-in on the house being alive and attracting the woman. A bit sexual for an Ito short though.
This was was really meh for me. I feel like it wasn't as creepy as it could of been, and needed some more build up to the reveal.
While this story was a little predictable, I thought it was well done and very creepy.
I enjoyed all of Mimi's ghost stories, and while this story has some unbelievable moments involving Mimi's rescue, I still thought it was really interesting and spooky. Confined spaces and friend betrayals really do it for me.
The images in this story are very creepy and the image of the sound of grass actually happening won't leave my head anytime soon.
This lacks a lot of the charm and fun that Ito's work on his cats does. It just felt very rushed and not as engaging and interesting.
The pacing and dramatic irony in this story are top tier Ito. Great visuals and suspense, with enough disturbing lack of resolution to make it memorable.
This story doesn't have much in the way of plot, but the ending image is something I think about regularly so that makes it a memorable story for me.
This story was almost TOO much because it's a very real fear for me. In short I think this is a well done story and scary because of how real it is.
This story is creepy in the way that all fear of the unknown stories are. I think it's unique and very cyclical, which leaves us to question how long this story has gone on or could go on for.
