It got returned to the library and I don’t care enough to wait for it again. I don’t dislike it per say, but I’m not remembering to read it.

The story really picked up about the halfway point and was really strong in the second half, but then fell flat a bit for me in the final 20 pages. I think it would have been a stronger story if the author had focused more on the fantasy aspects and the interdeminsional travel over the monster coming into the real world.

For movie fans this slim volume is almost quote for quote of the movie (as it should be). Touching, snarky, and a wonderful read for epistolary novel enthusiasts, or anyone else for that matter.
