Vonnegut is not for me. He's a fantastic writer, but the content sucks.
Women, to vonnegut, are objects. The last words of Beatrice was "thank you for using me, when I didn't want to be used. " the fuck? She was raped and it was so casually mentioned.
Homosexuality is just a joke to him.
I know this was written in the 50s, but so many people have raved about him and said that he is their FAVORITE writer. ???
This book was like.. offensive Douglas Adams.
I won't be reading another vonnegut. He's clearly just for straight, white men.

I was really satisfied with the ending!
Some of the droning on and on about astrology was kinda boring and slow. Otherwise, a really fun and solid mystery!

I loved it. The ending was perfect, the story was fast, sweet and cute. Very fun adventure fantasy!
Super cute! Super fun! I really enjoyed this romance. Both the MC and the love interest are too adorable. The whole story was funny, really sweet, and real gay!

This was amazing. This is going up there as one of my favorite books. It was so complex and deep and I can't get over the romance. I love Barry and Helena so much!! I will be thinking about this for a long time!
It was okay! Short, nothing amazing. Murderbot is sweet. The action was okay. I may or may not pick up the next book.
It was sweet! Real sad though. There wasn't a lot of conflict, the problems were more like unfortunate circumstances and they were very much insta-in-love with each other. Not too bad for a cozy romance.
This book is probably a "you love it or you hate it" kinda book. It's really short, just over a hundred pages, and honestly if it were any more, i wouldn't have finished it. It just isn't for me really. The book has a lot of olde English in it, which is fine, but it felt exhausting to constantly have to look up words. The prose is very old fashioned and some people like that!
It has some interesting concepts. I can see the intention with the author being trans and in the story there's a lot about breaking apart your body and being sewn back together. The world is very dark and scary, which was cool to imagine.
I don't know. It just was difficult to get through with the writing style. I had high hopes but it just isn't for me.

Honestly pretty silly. Like a comedy of errors where the worst people are doing the worst things to each other and it just keeps going. I enjoyed it.
Funny coincidence that the 2 books i read by max booth iii both involve publishing companies....... unless all his books are about that. The writing style was exactly like mister bones. Not bad overall.
