Vonnegut is not for me. He's a fantastic writer, but the content sucks.
Women, to vonnegut, are objects. The last words of Beatrice was "thank you for using me, when I didn't want to be used. " the fuck?  She was raped and it was so casually mentioned.  
Homosexuality is just a joke to him. 
I know this was written in the 50s, but so many people have raved about him and said that he is their FAVORITE writer.  ???

This book was like.. offensive Douglas Adams.

I won't be reading another vonnegut. He's clearly just for straight, white men.
