But when she runs into Matt, she tries to not let her heart or hopes get involved, but with the magical way he is with his kids, and then the way he worms his way into her heart with his affection and charm...she can't believe that this handsome, sweet and tender man would want her with her brood. But as things become explosive between Matt and Abby, you see the connection only strengthens the longer they spend together!!!

Worth The Fall is the first book in the series, and is the debut novel from this author. I have been seeing this title for quite some time, and then I was given the opportunity to read and give a honest review....hooyah!! What with that gorgeous cover, and stimulating synopsis, I just couldn't help myself and I am so glad I did. Lately I have been getting more into the contemporary genre, and I will say that Worth The Fall really impressed me from beginning to end. I didn't have any idea of what to really expect but when I saw the magic from the first chapter I was captivated with each aspect of the story. The story is about a young woman, that has her own struggles and her life isn't easy with four young children and six months pregnant. That last thing she is looking for is a sexy navy SEAL but when one drops in her lap she has no idea what to do about it. She is afraid to trust and open her heart, Matt is not looking for anyone, although his family would love for him to settle down. He loves his job, loves the high of the danger, and his brothers on the team. He can't imagine anything else, but when he meets Abby and her four charming kids, he is hooked. He can't help but want to be around Abby and her children who have wormed their way into his heart forever.

The story is such a sweet romance...and I loved every single moment. It was such fun seeing these two get together. Both characters were written with solid form, and their play in the story was quite enjoyable, and the four kids....well it made me want kids and NOW!! They were fun and charming and everything you imagine children would be. There were many times when I came close to tears in this one, there is definitely plenty of emotion to satisfy any reader, and the romance is sizzling, and worth every moment!! I would highly recommend this story and I am definitely excited to see the second book....if its anything like this one, I know I am in for a fun one!! ENGAGING AND SWEET!!

Marie has finally built up the courage to leave her husband who abused her, and she couldn't stand it anymore. So now she is living with her brother, looking for a job, and didn't see the big scary biker like Horse to come roaring into her life and tilt her world upside down. When she first meets him, Horse and his biker friends, have business with her brother, and business she has no knowledge of, and part of her doesn't want to get involved. Even though he makes her body burn, she just wants Horse out of life, he is way out of what she ever imagined, and he intimidates and her feelings for him start to scare him. Then one day when she walks into her home, she finds her brother has cheated them, and they are about to kill him, and only thing will appease them and save her brothers life....Marie in Horse's bed. Horse is part of the Reaper's Motorcycle Club, a club that is family, and a brotherhood, and he would give his life for. He has wanted Marie since he first saw her, and doesn't hide it. As he begins to start to care for her and would love for her to be his in every way, her brothers messes up and the only thing that will save her brother will if he can convince her to be his and he can claim her as he has wanted to for quite some time now!!

I finally decided that I needed to try this one out!! For quite some time I have seen so many high ratings and reviews for this story, and I will admit I normally don't read biker romances...ever. However I changed my mind ( I am a woman after all, its in my genetic makeup). and I decided that this was a story I would really like, and like it....scratch that...I LOVED it!!! I couldn't even put this one down, it had such a compelling voice to the story that just drew me in from the first page. If I had known Wylde wrote like this, I would have read her long ago. I am a idiot for waiting so long. Before I read this, I thought it had a darker theme to the story, but as I was reading it, I really didn't feel that at all. The romance between Marie and Horse is actually quite sweet and romantic in the beginning, its almost like they are doing this dating dance, and Horse even takes her on a picnic...I KNOW. Bad ass Biker dude taking a girl out on a picnic, never saw that one coming. Now Horse has rough edges that is for sure, but he has a soft spot for Marie. But then Marie messes up their relationship, and it becomes strained, and then her brothers cheats the club, and now she will have to pay, in Horse's bed, to do with in whatever way he likes. The story is full of flashback in the beginning, and normally I hate flashback, but with the voice of this author on every page, I fell in love with it and the style of the way it turns out.

I really couldn't help but loving this one....everything about this story I adored. I don't even know why, since the synopsis makes it seem really harsh and rough, but with the way the story begins, and the emotion that is riddled through the story, and how even though technically its erotica, it had such a exciting plot, that it didn't seem like one, it seems more like a contemporary romance, and gives off a swoon inducing effect that will make you hungry for more~~ I can hardly wait to read the rest of the series....found a new favorite author, and I am going to follow this series. This story made me fall in love with bikers and intense chemistry that only Joanna Wylde can do in her very unique storytelling voice!!! A WICKED PAGE TURNER!!

I received a ARC through Avon Books and Edelweiss in return for a honest review.

What A Wallflower Wants is the third book in this latest series by Maya Rodale and we also see characters from the writing girls series as well as other characters from the other books in this series. It was fun seeing the connections. When I first started reading this, it seemed to be predictable at times, and so in the first half I really didn't have much heart in this story, but then some twists develop in the plot and before long I am challenged and wondering what will happen next and I had no issue get into the rest of the story. This story is full romantic, and everything you need if you are looking for a slow and gentle romance that warms your heart. Then characters are both hiding secrets, but can't seem to resist each other. The relationship starts slow, its not instant kissing and sharing a bedchamber....nope not this one. For one the heroine can barely stand a man's touch, and John is intelligent and gentle man, and I loved the way he handles her. He sees the vulnerability within Prudence, and he is forms a bond with her, and soon she starts to discover hidden passions that she never knew existed. When you learn of her past and what she has done to survive, I really admired her character. John is one of those heroes, that would make the best husband material. Even though he gamble and has a big secret, he is smart and has dreams of his own. John is the honorable type, almost the knight in shining armor. He isn't afraid of showing his true feelings, or his devotion to Prudence, and in the end fighting for his love for her...no matter the cost.

This story was phenomenal, and I loved the unique set of events that unravel, that surprise and keep you engaged. A spellbinding classic tale of turbulent pasts, a gentle passion, and a love that is worth fighting for!!! SENSATIONAL!!

When I was asked to read and review this one, I was excited especially after I saw this gorgeous cover and read the blurb. I love any romance set in a historical period and this one was great. It is set in the medieval period, where there are knights, and the court and yummy princes. This story is about a young woman that is forced to come to court, a woman that loves to be free and watch the sunrise and play. She doesn't like to be restricted. Now she is at the royal court, because her sister is marrying the crown prince. Then she meets the younger prince, Frederick, who is a ladies man. But he is charming, affectionate and shows her gentleness and desire. It is a short story, but what a fun one. I enjoyed every moment. It almost seemed too short for me. The story surrounds this sweet romance, and is wrought with treachery and suspense, with a tender love story that is guaranteed to steal your heart!! Magnifiscient!!

Sarah Withers has spent five years as a saloon girl, and now she is at the end of her contract and is ready to start a new chapter in her life, and have a chance to show the people of the town who she really is. All she wants to be is a respectable woman and be worthy of Roy LaCroix. Roy has been one of those men that is gentle and caring, and has a bright future ahead of him. He has shared her bed for years, but with her plans to be respectable she hopes for something more in their relationship. Roy is young, but has hopes for the future, and they all include with Sarah in his life. He has always seen her as a caring and passionate woman, and aches to have her as his wife. But with her goal to be respectable, it may not be easy to show her of his devotion and commitment. Will Sarah's past keep them from being together...or will they be able to fight for their love?

When I was asked to read and review this story, I was very curious. I had never heard of this author before now, and since I love historical western romances, so I was excited to get my hands into this story. I really enjoyed this story, the voice of the story was a bit different than I was used to, but I LIKED that. There was something so unique about the way this story shares her storytelling ability that really sucked me into the story. This was a novella, but as I was reading I didn't feel that it was too short or rushed in any way. It was evenly paced, had solid plot changes, and was intensely romantic. One of my favorite aspects of the story is that the characters had flaws. They weren't picture perfect, they had faults and struggles just like any normal person, and the characters just came alive in the story for me. I really adored the heroine, I don't get to say that too often, but I will for this story. She is the center of the story. She is a bit focused on being respectable that she almost pushes away those that really care about her. But I loved seeing her journey from beginning to the end of the story. The hero was charming and sweet, the focus really isn't on him, but he had that gallant quality to him that had me head over heels. Overall a winner of a romance that you don't want to miss out on!! Delightful from beginning to end! A WONDERFUL READ!!

I received a ARC in return of a honest review.

When I saw this title available on Netgalley I knew I needed to try it out. A short novella, that only consists of 85 pages, but I really liked the blurb so I jumped right into this one. The voice of the author in this story was addicting, I really liked the way she just sucked me right into the story. However I had a hard time loving this one. With the story being so short, it ends way too quickly, and just when it starts to get into the story it ends...a cliffhanger folks.,. and one I was surprised by. I am guessing the next book will continue right where this one leaves off. Even though this is a romance, there isn't much of that in this one. I am guessing this first installment sets up the story for later books. We do see a bit of chemistry between Nicholas and Susan, but there is only a hint of it, but I did enjoy seeing how Grant really delves deeper into the characters. Even though I had a few issues with this one, I did enjoy it and was a short yet fun past time. Looking forward to the second one and hope it comes out...soon!! A Story that will pique your curiosity and keep you hanging at the end and hungering for more!!

Louisa Brockhurst is on the run, every time her past comes closer to haunt her, she leaves. So she abandons her closest friends, and decide to make a fresh start, and she finds herself at a local inn asking John Taylor for a job . John Taylor, is a retired prizefighter, who has built this inn from the ground up and is proud in his establishment, but he knows it needs work. When he sees Louisa walk into his place, and asking for a job, he knows she is the answer to his prayers. He needs someone to help care for inn, and even though she isn't very adept as a maid, he sees a passion and fire within her that he can't wait to ignite. As John and Louisa get a comfortable routine going on, they know that there is a dangerous desire building between them. And just when Louisa starts getting comfortable, fate gets her say, and her past comes back to haunt her, but will she be able to face her past with John at her side or will she go on the run again and leave the one man that holds her heart?

Louisa is the fourth installment of the Governess Club. In the previous books we have seen a sisterhood of these four women, and Louisa is the one that I least understood. After, recently having read Sara I was very intrigued by how Louisa's story would go. I will be honest, I had a hard time with Louisa as a character. She isn't easy to like, she has a very harsh side and can be a bit demeaning to others, I couldn't really connect with her much at least until the end. Now the hero of the story: John, well I adored him. He was way too good for Louisa. He was a good sport, and had such patience and understanding with Louisa, and he is the type of hero that is good for Louisa. He isn't afraid to show his true feelings toward Louisa, and is willing to fight for her and fight with her to gain her trust and respect. He is tough and resilient and his character just appealed to me so much. I think it was the way he held himself and the way he was with Louisa, who made me want to wring her neck. She tended to get on my nerves, but John, as a character has a calming effect on the reader, and made it worth the read. I will say I did eventually like Louisa, but not till the very end.

I really liked the way this story was formed though, the plot was well built up and I felt like it had a solid foundation. Even though I had issues with the heroine, I really liked everything else about the story. It had some interesting scenes that take place, that keep you entrenched in the story. I liked seeing how this series wraps up in the end, and you might need a few tissues for the ending!! A HEARTWARMING ROMANCE!!
