So Isabella has no choice, since she would do anything for her sister. Trevor Carey, only cares about the country life, taking care of his tenants and farms, and seeing to his younger sisters. When his grandparents left his parents on their own, he had no interest in forming a bond with his grandmother when he became the Duke. At first Trevor is furious at Isabella, for trying to get him to return to London, to the family who has never cared about him or his sisters until they needed him. As Isabella tries to convince Trevor of his duties, Isabella starts to slowly fall for the handsome duke, who treats her with desire and tenderness..

Why Dukes Say I Do is the first book in the wicked widows series. This is the first chance I have had to read from this author, and I really enjoyed this book, a lot more than I expected. I found this story to be quite enjoyable and fun to read. The setting of this story takes place in the countryside of England, and we see a instant attraction between Isabella and Trevor form. But what I really liked was seeing them form more of a friendship in the beginning, and then it turns into something more deeper.

The characters in this story were quite delightful, and I loved the difference in each of their personalities. The hero of the story, Trevor, has certain characteristics that just makes your thirsty for more. He isn't your normal hero of a regency. He isn't a rake or rogue....but just as tasty. Trevor is honorable and loyal, but from the beginning of the story he has a possessive hold on Isabella. I love his treatment to Isabella and his sisters, so sweet and protective. Isabella is quite strong and I really admired her, especially when you see what she has suffered in her past. But she has major trust issues and I liked the way the author portrays this character, and instills a emotional edge to the story that wraps around your finger, and you just need to find out what happens. Some of the side characters were quite fun: The two younger sisters were funny and heartwarming and I fell in love with them. They reminded me of my sisters and I growing up. Even the best friend of Trevor was delicious and I hope he gets his story with the governess (that would be a good story). You can't help but root for Isabella and Trevor from beginning to end. This story is enchanting, with some sexy chemistry, a bit of intrigue, and a plot that never stops. GUARANTEED TO SWEEP YOU OFF YOUR FEET!!

In modern day New Orleans, during Mardi Gras celebration, Talon is run over by a runaway float, is injured and is saved by a gorgeous woman, Sunshine Runningwolf. Sunshine, is a artist and painter, and she her greatest passion is her easel and exploring her talent. She lives in a den of pink, lives off soy products, and isn't looking for any commitment...until she meets Talon. From their first day together passion ignites, and this couple can barely keep their hands off each other. Talon knows that he can never have anything with Sunshine, but there is a deep connection and when they keep getting thrown together, and Sunshine being hunted by his enemies, these soul mates will have to rely on each other to survive their enemies that are bent on their destruction...

Night Embrace is the second book in the Dark Hunter series. For years I have seen this author popping up, and so I decided I had to try her out. So I found Night Embrace at my local library and I picked it up before anyone else could. I had high expectations for this book and it blew me away after reading it. I don't think there was anything that I didn't like....it has everything you need in a paranormal romance!! There is such imagination in the plot and this fierce and passionate world of were's and vampires, demons, gods, and hunters. Before I even picked this up, I had a feeling that this story would be sexy and fun and I was right!!

What a pair Talon and Sunshine make together, and I was on their cheer team from the very beginning. Talon is one fierce warrior, and in the beginning he seems dark and aloof and without any emotion except for the joy he feels with his cup of coffee. Then when seeing some vampires to kill, he finds himself stuck in a pink everywhere loft, and with a quirky woman that stirs his desire like none other. Talon is quite a bit of a tortured hero we have here. He has lost his wife, child, parents and sister to his enemy. He lives a desolate life of killing and serve to Artemis. I loved Talon as the hero, and what a tasty male he is. I just wanted to gobble him up. He was protective, fierce, alpha all the way and what a fighter he is especially for Sunshine. Sunshine, well she was different, but I really liked her from the get go. She is fun, quirky, and unique. She takes everything in stride, and doesn't have panic attacks from learning about Talon, I love how accepting she is of Talon. There is quite a strong connection and what a emotional roller coaster this story is. Overall a winner of a paranormal romance. A wonderful blend of memorable characters, intense packed plot, enough steam to give you sunburn, a love story to steal your heart!! A KEEPER!!

Evie supports herself and her parents, with the income of the books that she writes. Then while drinking her coffee at her favorite shop, the most compelling man comes into her life and her world changes. Roman D'Angelo is the vampire king, and has lived for three thousand years, and is the most powerful vampire on earth. Roman then has visions of a young woman, a woman who will be his future queen. He knows that he must find her and soon. Then he sees her at a cafe, and can't resist making his claim on her and introducing her to his world. Then a homicidal warlock and vampire takes a interest in Evie, and her life is in danger and only Roman will be strong enough to save her...but what will be the cost...

The Vampire King is the first of the King series by this author. The basis of the series, is that there is thirteen kings of different realms, and this series is about them all finding their queens. I was introduced into this story when I noticed a sale of this story through Whisper sync for voice on Amazon, and I just couldn't resist getting this one. Now I didn't have any idea what to really expect from this book, there wasn't many ratings or reviews, so I had to take a leap of faith for this story and I really loved it. Lately I have been searching for solid vampire romances and this one won me over. I really love the narration and so I am glad that I listened to this audio book. There is quite a bit in this story that I would highly recommend this to anyone that loves a thrilling paranormal romance.

The story begins quite intense and really pulls the reader in, and from the first few minutes of listening I was hooked...I just had to find out what happens. The villain of the story is obvious from the beginning, and the author puts in a couple other sub plots into the story. In the beginning of the story, we see the two lives of Evie and Romance. Then they meet, and bring on the intensity with these two. Then the plot really gets in gear when Evie's life is put in danger, and Evie starts to learn the truth about Roman.

Roman is very yummy....I LOVED HIM!!! He is commanding, strong, and not someone you ever want to cross. I felt like his character for the most part was well developed. Evie well I liked her more in the beginning, than I felt like she was a bit spineless in the middle of the story, but by the end of the story I grew to really be endeared to her. She is fiercely independent and a fighter and I really admired her for some of her qualities that add a certain flair to the story. Overall the plot is quite intense and satisfying, and I love the way this author really engages the reader. There is a 'magical' tone to the story and I enjoyed the conflict that lifts this story from average well done to fantastic. Exciting, Thrilling and packed with adventure, romance, compelling characters, and enough paranormal drama to enthrall you from beginning to end. I can hardly wait to read the next book in the series. BLEW ME AWAY!!

This is the first time reading a book from Olivia Drake, and it has been a long time since I have been so engrossed in a historical romance. The style of the writing reminded me of Karen Hawkins, Lisa Kleypas and Sabrina Jeffries. If The Slipper Fits is one of my favorite historical romances I have read so far this year. I do love a fairy tale theme romance, and this series is based on the story of Cinderella. Annabelle is our Cinderella, a orphan, with no home or family. She is then asked to be a governess to a child who is in great need of a mother. But she clashes with the guardian and uncle, Simon Westbury. Annabelle brings a peace and a softness to their home. This was such a beautiful and tender story that kept me up late reading it, because I was so enthralled by every aspect of this story. The romance between Annabelle was stimulating and sensual. I loved the aspect of the nephew, this darling little boy that just had me wrapped around his finger from the beginning.I enjoyed seeing the intricate play of events, and the way this story is put together. It had a feeling of vibrancy that extends itself to the reader.

Overall If The Slipper Fits swept me away from the first chapter. This author takes us into a world of sizzling passion, charming characters, and a sweet romance to tug at your heart strings. Satisfying until the very end!! MAGNIFIQUE!!!

With This Ring is the most recent release in this series by Celeste Bradley. I was able to receive a ARC in return of a honest review. I had really high hopes for this one, since every other book I have read from this author I have really enjoyed. However, I am sad to say that I couldn't get into this one at all. I had a really difficult time keeping focused on the story, and I felt like the story line was balanced in some ways. However it felt a bit off and I after getting half way and getting to the point where I was almost skimming it, forcing myself to keep reading, I just knew I needed to put it down. I had a hard time choosing to do so, especially with it being a ARC, and when I have enjoyed this author, and in the past I have come to admire her compelling talent for her style of storytelling. In the past she has made regency romances come alive for me, and maybe I had too high of hopes, I am not sure. The basic of the story is pretty solid, and the characters seemed somewhat strongly situated into the story, but I never felt a connection and I felt like a bouncing ball as I was reading. I had the feeling of being disoriented, and I think the flow could have been a bit more smoother. I hope one day I can come back to this one and maybe I will enjoy it more. Even though I didn't enjoy this one, I do plan on reading more from this author.

Wolfishly Yours is the most recent and latest release in the series....and can I just say STELLLAR!! I loved this book so much!!! I think I enjoyed it way more than the previous book "The Wolf Who Loved Me". This story has so much going for it. It starts out a little slower pace than I am used to with this author, but as the story progresses, it only gets more fascinating and even more amazing and keeps pulling the reader in with each chapter. As I kept chugging along, I felt like it only got better the more I read. There was so much I enjoyed about this latest installment, and I think Gray may be my favorite brother. Grayson, is a scoundrel with wolfish tendancies. He is a fighter, hates the rules, and despises being tamed like a dog with his tail tucked between his legs. Livi, feels betrayed by her family, and only aches for freedom. She knows that her life is changing way too swiftly. All she wants is to return back to New Orleans, that is until she meets Gray. A man whose taste for freedom rivals her own. A man whose kisses makes her feel like she can soar.

A riveting romantic tale, a story of magical fun, tender sensuality, witty characters to give you barrels of laughs, and a story that becomes more enchanting with each page!! DELIGHTFULLY WOLFISH!!

Danice Carter, is a attorney, and has worked hard to be working at a prestigious firm. A firm that isn't her dream, but she is content. Then she is asked to do a important job, by the CEO of the company, a job that if she fails she will lose her job. So her client goes missing, and when she goes searching for her, in a strange mansion, she finds herself facing a stranger, that stirs her blood. McIntyre, is a private investigator, half fae, and is searching for a missing woman, the same woman that Danice is searching for. At first he refuses to let her in on the investigation, but when she proves to be persistent, he knows he has little choice. When McIntyre and Danice journey together in the realm of the fae, A journey that they will be thrust into danger and magic, and a passion will burst between them and give them both a chance for happiness?

Prince Charming Doesn't Live Here is the third book in the series. I have recently discovered Christine Warren, and with each book I read I fall in love with her more. This was a charming and endearing story that packs a paranormal punch. The story is a sweet and tender one, and I really enjoyed the way this author writes this one. Very different from the last book I read. We get a introduction into another form of paranormal life, we see a world of the fae--more focus on the Unseelie court. The story begins with Danice and Mac meeting in a abandoned house...and fireworks happen. There is a instant chemistry between Danice and Mac, and the story seems to fly though once these two meet.

Mac, is quite different for a hero, but there was so much to love about him. He definitely has a commanding presence, handsome and sensual, but he also has the tendency to work with others, apart from his birth fae mother that abandoned him at birth. He has close ties to family, and isn't afraid of sharing emotion or his feelings for Danice. Danice is independent, established in her career, and has everything she thinks she needs, until she meets Mac. Danice is full of surprises, she isn't afraid of saying what is on her mind, even when she is in great danger. I love how spirited she is, and she isn't one to deny the truth. I love how accepting she is of Mac and his differences. She is bold and daring and her personality is so endearing. The connection between Mac and Danice is passionate and powerful.

Overall a romance that sizzles and burns!! A charming story of magic, and a world of paranormal beings, A must read for any who love a solid romance with a kick. Sassy and Fun!!
