I received a ARC copy through Netgalley and Grand Central Publishing in exchange of a honest review.

Sam works for the crown as a agent, to protect it at all costs. He is ordered to kill a traitor, who has plans to murder the crown. So he does his job, and kills the traitor, but his wife he finds, having heard and seen everything. So he has no choice but to kidnap her and keep her secluded. Sam has no idea what Lady Dunthorpe knows, or she is a traitor as well. Elise, has suffered over a decade of being Lord Dunthorpe's wife, and even though she is french, she considers herself more English than french. So when she finds her husband killed, and herself being taken prisoner, she has no idea what fate has in store for her, or Sam's true plans for her. At first Sam questions Elise and the statement she gives, but the longer he spends time with her, he starts to feel drawn to Elise, and feels a desire that he doesn't want to deny. Now Sam and Elise will have to stick together, when a danger surfaces, one that will put them both on the run trying to survive.

The Scoundrels Seduction is the third book from the House of Trent Series. Ever since I discovered this author last year, I have been in love with her. The House of Trent series so far has been stimulating and full of adventures. The Scoundrel's Seduction is just what I was looking for in a book. Lately I have been wanting a story I can really dig my hands into, and The Scoundrel's Seduction was perfect for what I needed. There is quite a bit of a espionage element, which is always a treat with regency era romances, but Jennifer Haymore definitely put a delightful twist into the plot, that pulls you in.

The Character were exciting, and intense, and full of conflict and variety of dilemma's that ended up becoming more fascinating to the reader. Samson, is illegitimate, but has never felt the lack of affection from his mother or siblings. He has had to work hard for the position he is in, and is dedicated to his country. He is also desperate to find his lost mother. I found Sam a wonderful hero, dashing, courageous, and protective. I love how he treats Elise, and he is one of my favorite characters from the Trent family so far. I really enjoyed his character and how deeply entrenched he is in the story and the series as well. There are many startling secrets revealed in this story that really shocked me, and I had had the most difficult time putting this one down. Now Elise, well at first she seemed weak and didn't have much backbone, but she really came through for me by the end. You see a heroine, that has suffered much and like any normal human being has put herself in a shell to protect herself, but the longer she is with Sam, the more she spreads her wings, and you see her flourish. I really loved seeing her transition from being shy and reserved, to a woman that is willing to go after what she wants and let nothing stand in her way.

Overall a outstanding installment, and a story that sizzles from beginning to end. There is quite a bit of steamy interaction in this one, enough to feed a forest fire. The characters are charming, the story is enchanting, and worth every moment. Charmed until the very end!!! LOVED IT!!

Lady Delilah Hargate, lives for propriety and tradition. Born and raised in England she has always wanted to follow the rules and do the right thing, until she visits America, and meets the dashing Mr. Russell, where they engage in a sensual adventure. But once she returns to England, she puts the incident from her mind, even though she never felt so free as she did then in Samuel's arms. Now her older sister Camille, is getting married, and one of Gray's closest friends happens to be the one and only Samuel Rusell, and no one is more shocked than Delilah Hargate. At first Delilah reacts to his appearance with rudeness and cool demeanor. Then she discovers that the feelings she once had for him come tumbling back, and she can't resist the temptation of being in his arms. She wonders how she will keep Sam from breaking her heart as her late husband once did. Will Delilah choose love over what she believes is right, or is Samson perfectly right for her?

The Scandalous Adventures of the Sister of the Bride (Boy is that a long title or what??) is the latest installment in the Millworth Manor series. As much as I adore Victoria Alexander, I do feel that her writing has faltered a bit in this one, or maybe it is just me. Her earlier books are absolutely wonderful and some of the best romance novels, but this one I had the hardest time getting into, so hard, I almost gave up on it. But I decided that I needed to try to make it halfway, and if I wasn't into it by then I would put it down. But since it is a ARC I always try to finish them if I can, and I am glad I did. By the last third of the book I could see the true writing of Alexander, I am just a bit sad it took so long to get to that point before I really started enjoying it. Now that I have read the story, I feel like it didn't have much consistency that I am used to from this author. It was almost like riding that roller coaster that has never ending twists in its flow that keep you from fully getting immersed in the story. Now having said that, I will say that I really enjoyed the basis of the story and the characters were fun and infectious.

There was quite a battle of wills going on between Samuel and Delilah, and at times it was very entertaining, however Delilah grated on my nerves from beginning to end. Samuel is a saint with all of his patience, he could be like Job for all he had to endure from Delilah, and I felt so bad for him. He definitely didn't deserve her manner towards him which was very rude mostly. I do love a heroine who is a fighter, but you start to definitely feel as if you are in a tug of war. I did love it when she finally eases up on him, and then that is when their relationship starts to really flourish and I really enjoyed seeing these two together. The other sub characters were such a treat to see, and I have loved this family. Each member is so unique and different, and you wouldn't think they are part of the same family since this family is packed with different spices of individuals but in the end make a tasty treat.

Overall a fun and enjoyable read, takes a while to get into, but once you are fully involved in the story, it will be impossible to not laugh your head off seeing these two make a relationship work!! Loved the tension and the sensual connection. Steamy and sexy and loved the little elements that made this a solid romance. I can hardly wait for the next book!!

Woo'd In Haste is the first book in the Taming series, and it sets the stage for the series. Woo'd In Haste is a very short novella, with only 100 pages, so it only took a hour to read, but I did feel like it didn't feel that short, which is a rare occurrence for a novella. I really enjoyed this sweet and delectable romance that just makes you sigh by the end. The romance is well developed and isn't instantaneous which usually happens with short stories. This one felt more gradual and I enjoyed seeing these two come together. The heat level in the story is pretty low, which I didn't mind, since I do prefer a story that the focus is on the love story and development of the relationship between the two characters. It definitely one to relax into on a warm summers day I didn't have any big issues with this story, it wasn't a 5 star or anything, just a enjoyable and satisfying read that encompasses you like the warmth of the sun. A TRULY TENDER TALE OF LOVE AND TRUST.

Ellice has devoted hard work and dedication to writing a book, and one of a more sensual nature, and is determined to see that it is published. When her mother informs her that she would like to start seeing her set about in Scotland's Society, she is determined to escape, anything from marrying someone she doesn't love. She she hides in a carriage, hoping that its heading for Edinburgh, but then the handsome stranger, he decides to stay overnight, because of a horrid storm front approaching. So she finds herself with cobwebs in her hair, and trying to escape unnoticed, when Ross shows up right in front of her, demanding to know who she is thinking she is some servant making mischief, when she is the sister of the Macrath Sinclair. Both Ross and Ellice end up working together to save a village when its about to flood, and passions ignite, and desire flames between them, and when a scandal threatens, will Ross and Ellice be able to give into the love that is waiting just around the corner for them to grasp and take hold?

the Virgin Of Clan Sinclair is the third book in this Clan Sinclair series, and its probably my favorite book!!! Oh boy did I adore this one, I stayed up super late last night, so I could finish it, and its been a while since a story has done that for me. There was just so many things I loved about this installment, and I just hope that I can cover everything without spoiling the story too much for you folks!! :) So this heroine, Ellice, she has spunk. What didn't I love about her? nothing, I adored her character, and the personality that is just so heartwarming and infectious and utterly captivating. She is exactly what you are looking for in a solid heroine character. Ellice has a creative side, and despite writing a sensual work of art, she is a virgin and has zero experience when it comes to making love. However she does have quite a imagination, and I loved how this author added a few snippets that were so addicting that I just wanted more. Ellice knows that she won't settle for anything less than passion and love. She sees what her brother has and craves it for herself. She is very independent, sweet, and fun loving. Now the hero....sexy Scot, who wears a kilt at times, and takes up the steam level a few notches. He is sensuality personified. He is alpha, likes to be obeyed, and refuses to answer questions unless he wants to. I loved how determined he is, and I wouldn't mind having this man at my side any day of the year.

Their relationship was fun and playful at times, and others very intense. I loved the variations in the story that just kept me engaged, and at the same time keeping me flipping through those pages as soon as I had read them. The story just came alive with stunning scenes, heart wrenching characters, and a story that stole my breath and tugged at those heart strings. Emotionally riveting from beginning to end, a romance that I never wanted to end!!! A enticing mixture of passion, witty humor, and adventure. SIMPLY MAGICAL!!! I just dare you to pick this one up and NOT adore it!!

Received a ARC copy in exchange for a honest review!!

Luke and Melody both fell in love in their teens, but their families that had a feud that could rival Romeo and Juliet's family feud. Even though Luke and Melody had strong feelings for each other, they couldn't risk the wrath of their families which they felt a portion of when Luke's brother ends up killed in a accident and they are blamed. So Melody leaves Cupid, and heads to New York to pursue her dreams. So she leaves and focuses on her career. Now years have passed, and Melody has set up a life for herself, but when her boss fires her for being too honest, and her boyfriend dumps her all in one day, she thinks it can't get any worse, until Luke strolls into her life asking for her help to save Cupid. Cupid, even though a small town, she stills cares about the quaint town, and the people that live there. So feeling that she has no other option, she decides to join Luke in trying to save the town, it doesn't help matters when he starts seducing her again, and her walls around her around start to come falling down, when she begins to dream of having a future with the only cowboy that ever held her heart, but will they be able to face the fires of fury from their families when the truth comes out?

Love With A Perfect Cowboy is a wonderful addition to the Cupid Texas Series by Lori Wilde. I do love romances with a twist, and this book has a big one. This story emulates Romeo and Juliet's family feud only, there is a HEA eventually. I really love the way this story was written. The Family Feud adds quite a bit intense conflict to the story. From the beginning in the story we see a connection between Luke and Melody, but Melody fears falling in love with him again, because their first time ended up in disaster. But she is determined to save her hometown at any cost.

Luke is one sexy cowboy, confident, likes control, mayor of the town, and set on seducing his first love. What is more romantic right? Melody is independent and willful, and passionate. I enjoyed seeing these two come together, and how fun they can be together. Their connection is instantaneous but because of their families, they don't let themselves accept their feelings until they are ready to risky all for love. I love how emotional this story got. My only complaint is the inconsistency of the plot. It feel like at times I was fully into it, and then at other times I couldn't put it down. One of my favorite aspects of the story was the setup of the story. I do love a conflict that just pulls you instantly into the story. And let me tell you if you adore conflicts just as I do, this story is packed with conflict from beginning to end. And the ending is Magnifique and mind blowing!! A beautiful story about true love that conquers all even a feuding family, where Luke and Melody may be the key to bringing peace to the families. A story full of passion, zest, and a sweet love story to bring tears to your eyes!!

First off I want to say that I spent almost a week trying to get this one read. And when I was about halfway through the story, I decided to just let it go. I have always felt you shouldn't force yourself to read something. Especially when there are so many other books I would like to read. I don't think it was the author's style of writing that let me down on this one, the main reason really surprised me, but it was the hero's character. I loved the heroine way more than the hero. Now don't get me wrong Wolfram is very likable but a bit too much for me. His character just didn't seem to fit him. I guess my biggest issue with him was that he was "knightly". Wanting to woo his lady, but the way he talked just slowed my pace in the story and even though I was curious to see how this ends, I knew that I couldn't keep going into it when my heart wasn't in the story. I feel especially bad because this is a ARC and I always like to finish them if possible, however I feel that even though there were certain aspects I really enjoyed: for example the setting in Germany, quite a bit of danger and a feisty heroine. So in the beginning I really thought I would fall in love and I think if the hero seemed more realistic to the time period than I would have enjoyed it a bit more. I hope one day to come back to this book later but for right now I think its time to just set it aside.

David Patterson and Tammy Anderson are teamed up when they embark to Belize to track down a missing jaguar, and a pair of mischievous twin shifter that have some secrets of their own. David and Tammy know each other, but passions ignite in the forests of Belize. At first all Tammy wants to do is abandon David to his own devices, but she knows that the only way to find the truth she will have to work with him, and the longer she is in close proximity to him, she knows she won't be able to deny the feelings she has for him. David knows he can handle this feisty she cat who is passionate, sensual and a fighter. Tammy knows how to handle her own, and as they journey closer to the twin shifter who are way more harder to find than they originally thought, Tammy and David will need to rely on each other especially when they seem to be surrounded by enemies and will have to decide who they really trust, and if it will either save them or cost them their lives....

Jaguar Hunt is the third book in this stellar Jaguar Shifter series. I have been waiting for months for this one to come out soon, and I was so shocked when this turned into a author request. I was definitely too excited. Terry Spear is one of those authors, that you automatically can't resist her books, and the moment you pick up one of her books you know that you are in for one helluva ride right? Well it starts off with a bang, when the Hero, David, ends up trying to save two wild but charming twin shifter boys, who get into some trouble, and finds himself in Jail of all places. And the one woman that is known for abandoning her partners, ends up being his partner, what luck right? Well David is about to embark on a adventure that will change his life. Tammy protects her heart, and has a difficult time with trust, and in the beginning she only sees a handsome shifter she could see sharing a bed with, but sharing her life with? Hell no right? Well when both David and Tammy are put in a world of danger, intrigue and a enemy at every corner, Tammy soon learns that you have to grab happiness when you find it and not let it get away.

The sizzling attraction between David and Tammy was packed of steam and enough heat to fire up a volcano. They definitely know how to put some fireworks on and still leave the reader breathless. The plot is never ending in adventure and suspense, and I loved how it kept shocking me, and I could barely put this one down, I just had to know how it ended, because it was leaving me in such suspense. And those twin shifter?? I just know we will be seeing those boys in the near future, they were so fun to watch in the story and they added flair and a witty note to the story that definitely will make the reader be charmed until the very last page.

Overall a stunning package of romance, danger, and some twists and turns to curl your toes. A easy to read, but packed with intrigue, mystery and some villains that you don't see coming. An exceptional addition to this jaguar series, that will have you glued to your seat. MESMERIZING UNTIL THE END!!! Fasten your seat belts boys and girls, because this is one ride you won't ever forget!!

I received a ARC copy in exchange for a honest review.

Rowan, works in a local bookstore, and unlike her best friend, who draws men like bees to honey, she hasn't had much luck in the men department. Rowan is still a virgin, and not because she wouldn't love to have a lover or two, but she has never met anyone that she wanted to share that part of herself with. When she comes to the local bar, to satisfy her friend, she meets a man that tilts her world with just one look. Rowan is blown away with "Gabriel" who is a sexy viking type, and looks at her as if she is the only woman on earth and he thirst for her blood. What shocks her is that he wants her, especially when there is so many other beautiful women that she knows she can't even compare herself too. But Gabriel is persistent, seductive, and charming, and even though she doesn't want to risk her heart, she can't help but find herself sharing her life with him, and knowing he is full of secrets, she knows that he is her destiny...

A Vampire's Promise is the first book that I know of that this author has written....and all I can say is SUPERBLY DONE!!! Impossible for me to put this one down. I don't read too many vampire romances, but this one was so delicious and lick your lips worthy, and I will warn you though it has one kicker of a cliffhanger, so much so that I knew I had to get the second book in NG. Gabriel and Rowan are quite a team, and Gabriel is quite the hero of the story. Gabriel is a vampire, but is quite the gentleman around Rowan. I loved seeing how old world he is, believes in courting a girl, and not just wanting sex the first night. As the story progresses, you see these two slowly kindle a flame that blossoms into a beautiful and tender love story. You know that Gabriel's secret is bound to come out soon, but you also don't want to put the special relationship they have created together on hold. I could barely get through this book fast enough, I was soaking this story 100%, and I could barely contain my excitement of this story and how much it revved my energy up. I almost felt like I was being the one seduced and slowly courted. The emotional display is so vividly displayed, that you can't help but immerse yourself completely in the story. It is addicting and almost magically pulls you in.

Overall a whopper of a romance. A tale full of zest, sensuality, and the seducting power of two souls truly coming together. A story to captivate you both body and soul!! A ENTICING ROMANTIC TALE TO TUG AT THOSE HEARTSTRINGS!!!
