The Stolen Princess is the first in the series, and I found it to be so addicting, I could hardly put it down. I wondered what this one would be like, especially since the last one I read was good, but didn't have me so enthralled like this one did. I love how charming this one was. I just absolutely adored Gabe. Gabe is not pure Alpha, he is so much better. He likes to take control and loves to be obeyed (he is a man and was in the military right?) and Callie just never does. She defies him on every turn, it aggravates him so. Which I found to be very amusing. These two just danced around each other, it was pretty hilarious. Callie was the type of heroine that I admired at times and got frustrated with at other times. Most times I liked her, she has gone to hell and back trying to protect her son, and I really liked that about her. But she is also afraid of her own shadow at times. But I did enjoy seeing her grow a bit more throughout the story, and become stronger and more sure of herself. I loved how she ended up fighting for Gabe and to keep him in her life. Now about the little boy Nick...I have to say I was utterly charmed by this mini scoundrel. He is so cute with the little phrases and how at the age of seven still fights for those that he cares about. Made me wish I had a child just like him. LOL. Overall a charming story that had me totally into the story from the first chapter, and I could hardly put it down. The way Gracie writes her story is just brilliant, and I loved the little intricacies this author displays. The plot was exciting and I was on the edge during many parts. I loved the way this story is weaved in such a way that makes you want to join in on the adventures. The love story was endearing and emotionally heart wrenching, and I loved seeing these two grow as the story progressed. A Winner hands down!! One you don't want to miss out on.

I recently discovers Caroline Linden has a well talented author. I have only read one of her books so far, but loved every moment of it. I was very excited when I saw that Love and Other Scandals was available for review through Avon and Edelweiss. The cover alone made me dizzy with excitement. One of the small aspects of the book that I enjoyed, was that in the book the heroine really does where a beautiful gold gown, just like on the cover. It doesn't happen too often, where the cover is what the book is described as. As far as I know this one isn't part of a series, but maybe it will be in the future. I could definitely see potential to see more books connected to this one. I found that Love and other Scandals was a stirring romance tale that enraptures the reader.

We see a story that begins with seeing when Joan and Tristan first meet when they are children. Tristan is Joan's brothers best friend, and she finds him a rascal yet charming. Years later, they have both matured and grown up. Tristan had to take over his title when his parents are killed when he is young. Now his reputation is well known all over London as a rake and a scoundrel, and Joan's mother has forbidden her to even dance with him. But one evening, Joan can't resist the temptation, and dances with Tristan, and before she knows it, he is taking her on adventures and sharing sensual embraces with her, and she finds herself falling in love with the man. Tristan may have the reputation of a rake, but he is anything but. He loves pleasure however there is much more to him than meets the eye. He knows that he is perfect for Joan, she completes him in a way that amazes him, he just knows he must have her, but he will have to convince her first of his sincerity and his love.

I found Love and Scandals to be a breathtaking tale of sweeping tale of adventure, true love, and makes Regency England come alive with Lindens writing. I found myself falling in love with these characters, there is such a instant passion between the two, but not only that but a bond of friendship forms, and the way the author writes, it is so vividly enchanting, that only captures the readers attention from the beginning. I have to say that I am behind on reading this author. Love and Other Scandals is one of my favorites, and I could help but be swept away by this charming story that won me over from page one. I fully recommend this to anyone that enjoys a fun and witty regency love story.

Michael, lost everything when he was sixteen in a card game, by his neighbor, and he was left with nothing. So now many years later he vows vengeance against the man that ruined his life. He is determined to let no man or woman get in his way, including his childhood friend Penelope. When he hears that his land is now a part of her dowry, he must come up with a plan to secure her marrying him as soon as possible. So he compromises her, which in turn forces her to marry him or face a horrid scandal on herself and her family. Penelope is thrilled at first when she see's Michael for the first time in many years, but he has changed a lot. He is no longer the boy she would run and play with, and write letters to. When she has no choice but to marry him, she wonders what kind of marriage they will have. She aches for passion and love and more than anything she desires Michael to be the one to give it to her. But when she finds out his thirst for revenge, she realizes his resolve and wonders if her love for him might be enough.A Rogue By Any Other Name is the first in the most newest series by Sarah MacLean. I have to say that I ever since I first read this author....she utterly captivated me instantly with her sharp wit and wonderful written stories that just pulled at my heartstrings. I can honestly say she is at the top of my favorite authors to read and I can't believe that it has taken me so long to get this one read....I truly must be an idiot LOL . Because this books was full of everything that satisfies every romantic notion that made me fall in love with romance novels in the first place. The story has a strong plot with a hero that I fell in lust and love with from the beginning. He is total Alpha and bad boy Rake type. Definitely the irresistable type that I just can't help but love from the first page. Penelope seems in the beginning like there is so much more she wants but feels caged by restrictions by her family and society. But when she marries Michael, we see the true fire beneath the mask, and I started to really like her. She fights for what she really wants and for the love she has for Michael (and I just LOVED her for that) I just love two strong characters that might not seem good for each other...but in the end are just perfect for each other. There is also such a sexual tension between these two from the beginning, and boy did this story sizzle and spark. A page turner this one....and story that will make you believe in second chances and a love that never dies!!!! A Romance Marvel that will make you pop in delight!

I was able to receive the ARC of Romancing the Duke through Avon and Edelweiss in return of a honest review. Ever since this author's books came out, I have loved her style. This latest series "Castles Ever After" are based on certain characters in each of the books inheriting or receiving in some way a castle. In the first one here, Izzy is sent a letter informing her that she has inherited a castle. Izzy with only a few coins to her name, decides to travel up north, and take a chance. She just doesn't expect to find a brooding and dangerous man who makes her heart flutter and her pulse quicken. Things heat up right quick, and he is the first who doesn't know the famous fables her father is well known for about knights and princes, and happily ever after. He doesn't believe in love or happy endings, just cold hard facts. This hero we see suffers from blindness, and we see how difficult it has been for him. He hasn't step one foot outside his crumbing castle. Izzy and Ransom strike a bargain, but this bargain will prove dangerous when they both fall in love with each other at a time when they least expect it.

The story was charming and sweet and fully romantic. There was quite a bit that I enjoyed. Even though there was a bit of a serious tone to the story considering the number of conflicts involved, the first and second impression I gained from this story was that if your looking for a light and entertaining romance, this one is for you. Its definitely the type of book to get comfortable in. The characters were fun and boy did I love the side characters, they were a ball!! So much wit and playfulness and sense of freshness came the impression to this reader.

Overall I fell in love with Romancing The Duke. I was very impressed with the way the layout of this story started and how the author set it up quite perfectly. The characters were uniquely simple yet not. There were a few complications that only keep the reader even more engaged. A story full of charm, romance, and stellar storytelling that takes you back the magic of fairy tales and love ever after. A Golden Treasure of a romance!!! FANTASTIC!

This is my first time reading this author. When I saw Unleashed on Audible, I had to pick it up. I have been wanting to read this series for quite some time now. Unleashed is the first installment in the "Amoveo Legend" series. The series is based on a group of paranormal beings, who can shift into a variety of ten different animal forms. I really like that basic for a shifter romance, instead of just one group of the same animal form. This author definitely turns paranormal up a notch. The story begins with Samantha getting reading the leave the big city "New York" and head back to her grandmothers on the coast in a quaint little town, where she grew up. Samantha is a artist, but her luck hasn't been the greatest in the big city. There is a undeniable urge to return to her roots. Samantha never knew her parents and were raised by her grandparents. After she returns home, she meets a breathtaking gorgeous man who for some odd reason, desires her. Samantha, having bad luck with men, just wants to take things slow. But her feelings for Malcolm, are stronger than she has ever experienced. Malcolm has known that Samantha is his mate, and can't wait to complete the bond. But he also knows that their enemy, is hunting her, and he must protect her at all cost. With their race dying, they need to replenish their numbers. Samantha is living proof that the Amoveo can mate with humans, as she is half Amoveo (a wolf), and human. As the danger draws near, only the powerful bond that exists between Malcolm and Samantha will be enough to save their lives.

Unleashed was a powerfully written paranormal romance that swept me away completely. I can't express how much I adored this book. I wasn't sure what to expect when I first started listening to this audio book, but I have to say it was way too short to satisfy me. Unleashed only lasted 8 hours, and the time went by way too quickly as I read it. I really loved the way the book turned out. I will warn you it will shock you in the end who is actually behind everything, I know I almost passed out while walking in the snow listening to this. The story begins with hearing a bit of background on Samantha, who has no clue that she is half Amoveo and can turn into a wolf. The moment her mate Malcolm reaches out to her, in dreams at first, is when she first starts noticing small signs that something is different. The first meeting between Malcolm and Samantha is classic, sweet and a bit funny and loved every moment of it. The chemistry between this couple is instantaneous, even though Samantha denies what she feels for Malcolm in the beginning. Then Malcolm does the impossible and takes his mate out on a date. For his kind you just claim your mate and live together right? Well Malcolm is going to have to be more delicate with Samantha and actually court her. Malcolm does quite a tremendable job in courting Samantha, and their relationship escalates pretty quickly. This story is probably covered in less than a week, so them falling in love happens quickly but the story never feels rushed, or too slow, it feels just RIGHT!!

The Characters in this story were fantastic and I loved every aspect that they presented. The Main characters Malcolm and Samantha, were so much fun to get to know. There was such a sense of drama at times, but I felt that only added more flair to the story. Malcolm is your typical alpha male, domineering at times, super over protective, and sensual. Samantha was a very unique heroine. I grew to love her pretty quickly, although I think she was over the top when she finds out that she and Malcolm are mates and goes into serious denial. But once she accepts everything, I found her likable and endearing. The side characters were fascinating and I loved how interactive their parts played in the story. The Grandmothers was fun and witty and who couldn't love her? The friends of Malcolm were delicious and I can hardly wait to read their stories.

Unleashed is a sensational paranormal romance. A story filled with tender loving, intense danger and mystery, and some serious paranormal kick that is bound to keep you on the edge!! MAGNIFICENT!!! Worth every penny!!

If you are looking for the perfect book to get you in the mood for Christmas this is the book for you. I loved this story. Both characters give off the tough impression, as they are both fighters. Both have struggled with connecting with other, both loner wolfs. But when they end up on a mission together, a spark connects them to each other. Then they go on another mission together, posing as a married couple, watching out for a teenage wolf who recently lost his parents. I really loved the theme of this story. The heroine Anna lost everything right before Christmas, and has never felt the holiday. That is until she meets the teenage boy who teaches her the magic of Christmas and Anna although has a tough exterior, has a vulnerability, one that only Bjornwolf will reach and teach her the power of true love. I loved this story, it was fun, sweet and tender. Not my favorite of this author, but a very enjoyable read, and perfect kind of book to read for the season. Get ready to jingle all the way to the power of true love in a setting that is rich and will keep you fully satisfied.

When Lisette's father dies suddenly, and she and her two half brothers and her mother (her fathers mistress) gets kicked out of their home by their fathers heir and their eldest brother, they run to France, knowing that its the only safe place they can go to. Now years later, Lisette and her brother Dom have returned to England, where Dom has been working on setting up his investigating business, with his sister aiding him. But then Dom is called away on a case up in Edinburgh, and Lisette is left on her own. Then the Duke of Lyons comes knocking on her door, insisting on the location of her other brother, Tristan, who knows the location of the Dukes brother, but Tristan has disappeared. So to safeguard her brother, so goes with Maximillian in search of her brother. On their journey they are forced to pretend to be husband and wife, and as they are alone, a desire builds between the two, a desire that threatens to consume them both.

What The Duke Desires is the first book in the "Duke's Men" series, which is the most recent series by this author. Sabrina Jeffries is a favorite of mine, when it comes to romances, and has been for many years. Many of her titles are at the top of my list as favorites. So I knew I was going to fall in love with What The Duke Desires and I was right, I could barely put this one down, and I haven't read a story so fast in quite a while, I was so immersed with the story I could barely put this down last night to go to bed. What The Duke Desires is a book I found through my local library. What The Duke Desires is a story that is set in Regency England, but most of the book is set in France. When I started reading this book, there is quite a overwhelming feeling of emotion from the beginning. We get introduced into the Bonnaud family, and as this is the first official book of the series, I felt like it did a well job in setting up the series, and I loved seeing these two together. There was such a sizzling connection between this couple from the very beginning.

Maximillian, is the type of hero that gives you tingles. Max, is a Duke, and ever since his older brother disappeared as a child when he was a boy, he has been raised to that position. He is very arrogant, commanding, and must get his own way at all times. So when he meets Lisette he is astounded that a little piece of a woman would even think of standing up to him. I love the scenes, especially in the first meeting, definitely will give you giggles and balls of laughs. As their connection deepens, the plot thickens, and tensions rise, and passion erupts.

A Delightful romance that will take you breath away. I loved the style of this story and especially the way this series began. I couldn't help but fall in love with Lisette and Max and their families. This story was intoxicating and addicting, a love story that is intense at times, and sweet at others. The heat in this story isn't way hot, but isn't light either. I felt like it had the perfect balance, that is my favorite style of sensuality. A remarkably written romance that stole my heart!!! BREATHTAKING!!! A Must read for historical romance lovers.

Natalie Cash has recently recovered from a attack where her friends were killed and her brother missing, but she doesn't remember it. Her memory has lost a week, but her dreams are filled with nightmares of creatures of the night. She doesn't know if her brother is alive or dead, but the police have told her to assume he is dead. So grieving for her brother, and feeling lost and confused, a wolf like dog has been around, even though he is huge, she isn't afraid of him. She sees a almost human tenderness in the animal's eyes, and a connection. But when one evening she ends up being attacked, her beloved dog turns into a beautifully shaped male who though should be intimidating, there is something about him she doesn't fear. She senses that he would never hurt her. But when it becomes apparent that Natalie is no longer safe, Wulfe decides to take her back home with him, he doesn't have any other choice. Wulfe feels a connection to Natalie, and even though a year ago he lost his mate, he feels a bond to Natalie he never had with his mate, one that makes it so every protective instinct inside him screams to protect her at all costs. With the danger of the mage getting closer, the key is Natalie, and Wulfe's intense feelings for her may be the only thing that may save all that he holds dear, including saving the millions of lives of humans before the daemons get to them.

Wulfe Untamed is the eighth in the series, and I was so thrilled when I was able to receive a free copy in exchange for a honest review from Avon through Edelweiss. I have the first two books and I just loved them. I don't know why, but I didn't continue reading the series, but when I was able to get a chance to read Wulfe Untamed I couldn't pass it up. Even though through the story I felt a bit lost at times, since I haven't stayed caught up with the series. However I was able to piece events together quickly, and I didn't find myself too lost. I would however recommend reading this series in order if you can. You can read them as a stand alone however you may find yourself a bit lost at times. The Feral Warriors series are about a band of immortals who are fighting to save as many lives as possible against a evil that is more powerful than they could imagine. The books are in a way interconnected with each other.

Wulfe Untamed starts out with seeing Natalie grieving, and being visited by a wolf like dog, and I enjoyed how the author set up the story, it had a very charming relationship these two start with in the story. Then Natalie is put in danger, and Wulfe's real identity is revealed. At fist Natalie is shocked and dismayed, but she accepts Wulfe for what he is, and doesn't freak out too much or go crazy. I enjoyed seeing that Natalie accepted Wulfe, even when she doesn't understand or comprehend what is occurring. As Natalie gets pulled into the action, and taken to the Feral House, she starts to see the bigger picture and how important their mission really is. As it has been a while since I have read the first part of the series, I could see that much had happened in the books I hadn't had a chance to read. So in the beginning I did get a little confused but as I continued with the story, pieces of the puzzle started to fall into place, and I started to catch up with events. After that I was able to breeze through the story. I have found the Palmer's writing hasn't changed since the first couple of books, just as captivating and sensual as she has always done. It is very easy to get into her stories, and I have fallen in love with this shifter series she has created. Pamela Palmer has a way of creating a story that makes the reader fall in love with the story from beginning to end, and still crave more even when the story is finished. Every time I read from this author, I know it will be a thrilling adventure, and the same holds true for Wolfe Untamed. There is such a intensity to the story, with quite a bit of action and suspense element involved in the plot, but there is also a uniqueness to the way that this couple is put together, A thrilling tale of action, suspense and passion!!

Laura is everything he desires and more, even though he has never sought after her type. Soon he is taking measures that he would never do, but the ice around his heart starts to melt. Even though he knows he can never marry her, he craves what could be, but is the love they share be enough to weather the storm ahead?

What A Wicked Earl Wants is the first in the Sinful Scoundrel Series. This is also the first time I have had a chance to read from this author. And all I can say is WOWZERS!!! I am beyond impressed with this author already and this is the first chance I have had to read from her. When I started reading this, I wasn't sure what to expect from this author. I tend to get a bit nervous when trying a new author, even with stellar reviews and ratings, I don't know what to expect. But after a few chapters I was enthralled by this authors storytelling that captivated my attention from the beginning, and I was hard pressed to put this book down. The story begins with Laura and Andrew meeting at a ball, where they have a instant eye connection, and from then on they are connected physically at first. As the story progresses further, you see that intimate connection they have, goes further to the emotional bond that connects them without either character fully realizing it.

The characters are endearing and magical and charming. Andrew, is a fine hero, I loved him from the beginning. He is a scoundrel and a rake, and loves all sorts of pleasure. But you also see signs that he has a past and not a good one. He protects his heart and emotions with a iron hand, and refuses to let anyone slip through let alone a small slip of a woman whose smile melts him and all of his reason. Laura is quite a fun heroine. I liked her immediately, even though she seemed a bit naive about her stepson behavior, but she is very passionate and strong willed, and I loved how she faces every situation with confidence and doesn't shy away from the truth. She deal with Andrew quite admirably, doesn't just jump into his bed because he kisses her senseless (which he does) but she doesn't give in at the moment. She makes him work for it, and I enjoyed seeing this flirty dance these two were engaged in. Quite amusing at times.

The story was enchanting and full of fun characters, engaging plot, and twists and turns to keep you drawn into the story. A delightful romp that sizzles! A WINNER

Rated 3.5

What The Groom Wants is the fourth in the Bridal Favors series. I was able to get this ARC through Sourcebooks Casablanca via Netgalley. I have read the first book in the series, and that was when I fell in love with Jade Lee. Her stories are fiercely passionate and wildly fun. So when I started reading What The Groom Wants I was expects a fast paced regency romance. But what I got was far different than I expected. There was a bit of a darker theme to the story, and probably the only character I really loved was the hero, he was bright and loving and good. There was such a frank honesty to his character, and he is so sweet with Wendy. He is the type of hero you want to crawl into his life with and never let go. The heroine, however, well I had a few issues with. Don't get me wrong, Wendy is a very strong heroine, and has a tough exterior, however she has made some decisions that are a bit darker than you would expect. There is some intense twists and turns involving the villain that made this story be much more darker than you would expect when looking at it first glance. There was quite a few moments I had to take a breather, and get some sunshine and chocolate and get to my happy place, before returning to this story.

I found that overall, this story was intense, passionate, and fast paced with tension and suspense. It does have many great and tender moments, especially between this couple, that you can't help but continue forward with the story. But it is definitely the type of story you need to mentally prepare for. The side characters were fun and we see the couple from previous books, which made me excited to read their stories. The plot was very intriguing, and has the feeling of spiraling out of control, but at the same time, makes you feel as if you are soaring. There are many ups and downs throughout the story, but I found I enjoyed the story way more than I normally would, due to this authors stellar storytelling abilities. INTENSELY WILD AND FULL OF DANGER!! I would recommend this to any historical romance lover, especially if you are a fan of Jade Lee!!
