It starts out in the Present Day and takes place in Still water Springs. Logan is the oldest of three sons of a drunk and hard father, Jake Creed. After Jake is killed all of the three sons leave Stillwater Springs. Logan has a law degree, taking a active role as a rodeo cowboy, and ends up getting married twice and divorced, and coming to the realization that he wants to turn his life around. The Creed's are descendants of the McKettrick Clan. For many years, the Creed's haven't had a legacy like the McKettricks have had, and Logan makes the decisions to make that happen. On his way home however, he comes upon a abandoned and poor dog and Logan against his better judgement decides to take him in. He then comes to his ranch and walks to the cemetery where his mother is buried and comes upon a young women with two young boys and a dog.

Briana Grant is divorced with two young boys, Josh and Alec. She works at the local Casino with a management position, takes care of Dylan Creed's home in exchange for being able to live there, and home schooling her children. Briana thinks her life is going pretty good, every now and then she takes her boys to the cemetery and they weed and take care of it, and have a picnic. She then notices a handsome, man who captures her attention in that same cemetery and she knew her life would never be the same. As Briana and Dylan get to know each, a unsuspecting danger will come and sneak upon them.

As I was reading Logan's story, I was utterly entranced into the catpivating story in Montana. I have always loved Montana, the valleys and mountains are gorgeous, and Miller portrayed it so well, the story was made alive within the readers eyes. The main characters were vivid and enthralling. The plot was filled with love, passion, mysterious intrigue, and a story that kept me on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next. Although it did have some parts in it that were confusing, and weren't eventually explained, and there were some of the relationships between the main characters and sub characters that I felt should have been more connected. But overall it was a well written and enjoyable read. I am looking forward to read Dylan's story next.

Lizzie McKettrick, is traveling home from San Francisco with a prospective future fiancee, and planning on surprising her family with Whitley Carson. But then a avalanche strikes the train they are traveling on and they are stranded witha blizzard outside and not much hope of surviving with a likely chance of them on the edge (which could tip their car over), and another avalanche that could down upon them at any time. Dr Morgan Shane takes charge and Lizzie is drawn to him in a way that she has never been drawn to a man before. Despite their current dangerous circumstances surrounding them, their is a spark that flares between the two, and Lizzie knows in her heart he is the man she would want to spend her life with if they manage to survive.

My Thoughts
I have read most of the McKettrick series, and was delighted to read Lizzie's Story. The four previous books involving her father and her three uncles, are treats to read, as was A McKettrick Christmas. From the first sentecne I know I would enjoy reading, its definitely a heartwarmer for the Holidays. The characters were touching, and although a bit shorter than I would have liked when it comes to a McKettrick book (or any of Linda Lael Millers books) it was still a Christmas delight that will warm your heart.

Lucy, has a talent for creating beautiful glass, and currently resides in Friday Harbor in Washington. She lives with her boyfriend, Kevin, whom she has been with for over two years. Lucy is content with life, and feels as if everything has fallen into place for her; until Kevin lays a bombshell on her. He breaks up with her, at first Lucy doesn't understand why. It was the last thing that she ever expected Kevin to say to her. But then she finds out he has been cheating on her with her sister, of all people. Lucy has yet to find someone that can love her for who she really is. But then she stumbles across Sam Nolan, who is charismatic and kind and very handsome. Lucy, knowing that he may one day, break her heart, pursues a relationship with him. At first its very slow, and she tries to shield her heart, knowing he can't even sleep with her at night, he avoids any kind of commitment or love at any given time. But when she feels that she is starting to truly care for Sam, because she has connected with him on such a more intimate level than anyone before now; she knows that what they share can never last, but will Sam be able to live his life without Lucy? After reading Christmas Eve at Friday Harbor, I was very much looking forward to reading Sam's story. I always felt like he would be the perfect hero for one of Kleypas's stories. It started out within the first paragraph having me hooked into this story. I could hardly put it down, and read it within a day. I had no trouble staying with the plot and the characters, and I just fell in love with Sam and Lucy. I really liked Lucy, I found her to have some good qualities, but also to have a bit of a vulnerability, that I felt I could relate to. You never want the characters to be so perfect you never feel you can relate with them in any way. I felt like both had a carefree manner about them. Sam is just....HOT...that is all I have to say. I liked how resistant he is to love and commitment, and really liked seeing him proven wrong. Especially since he fights it so hard...you would think his life was in danger right? He can just make you melt. I also liked the bit of magical element that Kleypas's mixes in with the story...it added a bit more enchantment feel to the story, that just endeared me even more. I also loved the humor and the sense of playfulness that is shown all throughout the story. A Charming read that will just take you breath away and leave you breathless for more. A beautifully written story that is deeply satisfying that is rewarding!!! A Remarkable story of love, magic and commitment.

Lucy's trembling fingers came to his lips, caressing them gently. "Are you sure? How do you know its not just about sex?"
"It is about sex...sex with your mind, sex with your soul, sex with the color of your eyes, the smell of your skin. I want to sleep in your bed. I want you to be the first thing I see every morning and the last thing I see at night. I love you the way I never though I could love anyone."

Its Amanda's thirtieth birthday, and since she doesn't want to spend it alone, she decides to hire someone to get rid of her virginity. Amanda has always craved passion in her life, but being a spinster has taken that away from her, but now she is determined to have it all. When Jack shows up, she is drawn to him in a way that mystifies her, but after he teaches her a thing or two that night, she knows she will never see him again. When she see's him again, and learns who he really is, and his plans for her, she is outraged at first, but when she realizes she has no choice but to work with him, the passion ignites more powerful than before, and Amanda knows that her life will never be the same. Suddenly You is a single title by Lisa Kleypas, and a book of her's that I hadn't read yet....but I am so glad I did. I don't think there is one book yet that I haven't fallen in love with. Every time I read one of her books its like a breath of fresh air. Her writing is pure magic, and I always fall under her spell LOL. Jack is the type of hero that you can't help but love even though he has many strong ALPHA traits, he has a very possessive nature toward Amanda, and you see it throughout the book, but you can't help but love him for it, since he has never known love in his life and it was a journey to see him change a bit because of Amanda's influence. Amanda has a very passionate and strong willed nature, has great talent, but also craves a loving relationship and is willing to take a risk on Jack. I loved many aspects of Suddenly You is an endearing love story where two people who are so different in many ways, have much as well in common, and find what they really need when they fall in love. A beautiful written story by one of the most talented romance authors!!

I was really looking forward to reading Miss Wonderful, but after reading 100 pages and not really getting into it, I decided to put it down. It seemed like it had a good plot and some strong characters, however I just was unable to enjoy it, I was almost skimming, forcing myself to read it. I don't know why when I have always enjoyed all of her other books so far. I do plan on reading more from this author, however I don't know about the rest of this series. I do plan on one day re trying reading this once again, see if I like it in the future. I have so many books that I want to get to, that I don't want to spend 2-3 days trying to force myself to read it to the point of it becoming a chore.

Mica, is protected by the breeds due to her relationship with them. Mica is then attacked when she is alone, and in danger, and there is no one that knows how much danger she is in. She is then attacked and on the run from council coyote breeds who are out to get her so they can kidnap her and use her as leverage...but then she is rescued by Navarro, whom even though he is unsure whether Mica is his lifemate wants her with a desperation and craves her like he has no other. Mica even though she wants Navarro, she knows they have no future because of the type of breed he is where he could never come to love her....since she doesn't know if he is even capable of such emotion.Navarro's Promise is the 24th in the Breed series by Lora Leigh. I have really loved this series....and I found that this was a exciting one....and having seen Navarro in previous books in the series...I have been looking forward to his story. What this story really boils down to is how we see Navarro who is suppose to be unable to feel unable to have emotion such as love...only he learns that Mica is the one who can change things for him. There was a dangerous element as well to the plot.....and the sensual side was very steamy...but defintiely a powerfully seduction read that will make you go wild!!!

Storme, has been on the run since she was fourteen years old, when her father and brother were viciously killed by breeds, she has been determined to make sure that what they are after now will never fall into their hands. But while she is on the run, she ends up being saved by Styx, who is wolf breed, but then she feels betrayed after a night of pleasure to be in the hands on Jonas and the other breeds who only want whats on a data chip, and are more determined than ever to get their hands on it. Styx knows where his loyalties lie, but after being with Storm, he knows that she is his mate, even though the bonding scent isn't fully there, but finds himself choosing between his loyalty to the Breeds or the one woman who makes him feel clean and whole....Styx's Storm is the 22nd installment in the Breeds Series by Lora Leigh. I have just loved reading this series, and I have looked forward to reading Styx's storm since it first came out and I am so glad to have finally gotten my hands on it... Styx's Storm is a exhilarting ride of adventure, passion, and love. I found both the characters enlightening...both stubborn as ox, but both feel a connection to each other, and are unable to resist the sensual heat they feel, and they become swept up in the desire and soon they start to fall in love with each other, and such a beautifully written tale of how love can conquer fear, and a painful past. A heartwrenching story that will leave you breathless!!! A Unforgettable Read!!!!

A new beginning. Storme stared back at her lover. Her mate. The man who had wiped away the fear, the misunderstandings. The man that loved her. His hand lifted, the backs of his fingers smoothing her cheek. "My perfect storm," he whispered. And he was her Styx. Her Heart.

Megan Fields, has the ability to feel the emotions of those around her. So she isolates herself in a small remote area of New Mexico, where she can be near those that she has grown up near to. So when danger finds her, and some coyote breeds after her life, she is saved by Braden Arness, who is a lion breed. From the first moment that Braden sees Megan, he feels the most strongest feelings of desire he has ever experienced, and knows that she feels the same, and its only a matter of time before he claims her as his mate, if only he can convince her to surrender to the insatiable passion that they both strongly feel for one another....

Megan's Mark is the seventh in the Breeds series by Lora Leigh. Megan's Mark is a powerful story of a woman who hates the gift that she has been given, and has never been able to learn to control it, and a danger that could threaten her and everyone in her life that she cares about, unless both Braden and Megan uncover the truth before its too late. I found Megan's Mark an insatiable read, full of steamy romance and thrilling excitement and so intriguing it will delight every one of your senses. Another winner from Lora Leigh!!
