Let Love Find You is the fourth in the Reid Family series and even though I have enjoyed all of Lindsey's books, except lately....I don't know what it is....I feel at times it isn't even her. I have read her previous books plenty of times...but this one just didn't reach out to me really at all. I had a hard time really getting into the book. The story line was great, I really loved the layout of the plot and I liked the characters but it just didn't ring out to me as a fantastic romance as I know Johanna Lindsey can produce. It may just be me since I haven't been reading a lot lately, however even though this book had some admirable qualities it was also lacking something vital: Depth....it seemed like everything was on the surface, and there wasn't any substance that grabs hold of the readers attention. I am sorry to give it such a low rating....but it just didn't fit into my standards for a good and solid romance....:(

That Perfect Someone is the tenth installment in the Malory Series. For years I have just reading books involving the Malory family, and although this was far from my favorite one...it was still quite enjoyable and I am thrilled that I finally was able to read it ( I know I know I am way behind LOL) I found the story captivating and the characters so innocent and childish at times...there was a vulnerability throughout the story with Julia and Richard. I loved how the story turned from two strangers who meet in a ballroom and shared a heated kiss...to hated enemies...then back to sharing a commonality with one another...Desire, such a powerful motivator and Johanna Lindsey portrayed this story beautifully, and although didn't have the certain aspects that I enjoyed in the earlier Malory books...I was feeling quite entertained from beginning to end!!!

Sharisse Hammond, an american heiress, is engaged to a man that she doesn't love, and feels trapped with no way out, not realizing at first that it is her younger sister that is in love with her fiancee. Once Sharisse learns of this, she learns that her sister has been corresponding with a man in Arizona who is looking for a wife as a mail order bride. So Sharisse decides to let her sister persuade her to go all the way to Arizona to marry a man she doesn't know, but would rather go out west, than marry someone that her father planned for her. However she never expected how hard life could be out west with a man, never realizing, that really never had any intention of marrying her. But Sharisse learns an aching passion in Lucas's arms, that she never expected to find, and wonders that when the truth comes about who she really is, will she lose him or find such a exquisite love.Tender Is The Storm is a single book, not part of any series, written by well known author Johanna Lindsey. It takes place in the American West. This is a story about a young woman who was unhappy in her father's plans for her, so she decided to make her own decisions regarding her happiness. And a story of a man, who has lost much, and on a quest of revenge, needs a woman, for a wife, but never plans to keep her as such. But throughout this story, we see a enticing adventure, charming characters and a tender love story that bonds two people from different worlds. I found this to be such a romance that was filled with such romance and adventure that I found I couldn't put it down. A romantic treasure to be sure!
Lady Leonie grew up without a mother, her father remarried, and her step mother ends up controlling everything in the household when she drugs her father enough to appear drunk. No one is aware of this. Leonie, one day curses the "Black Wolf" whom she is afraid of. The peasants hear her, and since they are very loyal to her start wreaking havoc on Rolfe; minor incidents but enough so that he wants to take action. He decides to marry Lady Leonie to stop these incidents. Lady Leonie refuses to marry him at first, but her step mother takes action, and has one of her loyal servants beat her until she is black and blue; so that she will consent to marry him. She wears a veil to cover herself up, so no one will notice what has happened.
During their wedding day, they barely say two words to each other. On their wedding night, Rolfe touches her, and she reacts in pain and accidently cuts him with a knife. Lets just say things don't start out as they imagined it. Weeks later, he finds out beautiful his wife really is, and and wants to reside with him permanently when before he would have preferred her distanced away from him. From the moment that they first kissed, he sensed that there was something different about Leonie, and knows that there is a growing passion developing between them.
Leonie, is a amazing woman and was very aptly descripted in When Love Awaits. Leonie is strong, responsible, beautiful and smart. She handles the situations that she is dealt with. As her sensual relationship develops with Rolfe, so does her emotional one and she finds herself falling in love with him. There is one problem that she can never get over, and doesn't know if she will be able to get Rolfe to understand along with her. Rolfe has fought many battle, he has over seven keeps, close friends with the current King of England, his ward is his mistress who runs his household, and decides to marry Lady Leonie out of revenge. However after living with her and their powerful passionate embraces, he senses something growing between them that far outweighs desire.
This was a average read though, I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought that I would. The characters didn't seem to connect, and it seemed to not flow smoothly. I found myself frustrated throughout the whole book; I mean I enjoyed reading it, but there also many moments where I just wanted to pull my hair out!!! The story although had a good start, didn't seem continue in that same pattern, it seemed to flow unnaturally and not to my liking.

Honoria, the youngest daughter of a Earl, and part of the Smuth-Smiths quartet, is in search of a husband. Then she meets up with Marcus, the Earl of Chatteris. Marcus was her brothers best friend, and is surprised to see him. Marcus, promised her brother Daniel that he would look after his sister Honoria, and make sure that she doesn't marry foolishly. But when events occur that put them in close proximity, sparks fly, and even though they both resist at first, they start to fall in love with each other despite injury and sickness, but will their love be strong enough when a secret comes out that Marcus has been hiding from Honoria?
Just Like Heaven is the first in the Quartet series and I have always had a love for Julia Quinn. I have to say though at the beginning I had a hard time getting into the story, but thankfully as things started to get Really interesting, I started to get really into the story and the characters. I really liked how both Marcus and Honoria have known each other since childhood, and somehow that friendship turns into something way more than either would have expected. It was fun to see the different mishaps that put these two together. Although this book is far from my favorite of Julia Quinn's, I still really enjoyed it and I would recommend it to any romance lover.....

Sophie Beckett, recently lost her birth father, and even though he never acknowledged her as his daughter, he still made sure she was cared for until he passed away, and she was left with his wife and step daughters, and was treated more like a servant/slave than how she should have been treated. On this night she meets Benedict, one of the infamous Bridgertons, and shares a passionate kiss, one that will remain burned in her memory forever. Sophie knows that she can never be a part of Benedict's life, but then through a chain of events, she is thrown in his path once more, and knows that she will love him even though she knows they can never have a future together...
An Offer From A Gentleman, is the third in the Bridgerton series. I have just loved reading this series, and this was the first time I was able to read this book ( I know...crazy huh)But I was in the mood for a cinderella type of story, and this one fit the book....I was totally satisfied with this one. I loved every page, every paragraph and sentence. Julia Quinn is one of my favorite historical romance authors....there is a unique way about her writing that is much different from any other....where her stories just draw in her readers and its like you have this compulsion to not let go of the book until you have finished reading it. It had a truly magical side to it, an Enchanting Love Story that will Captivate you!!!!

The Viscount Who Loved Me is the second installment in the Bridgerton series written by Julia Quinn. I have just loved this series and could read these books over and over, I just fall in love with the stories and characters all over again every time I read her books, and I just fell in love with Kate and Anthony. Anthony has always held a certain place in my heart, he is the type of hero that even on the outside seems like a rogue, on the inside he has suffered his own kind of pain and grief, and fears the future, but is a charming devil. I love the characters in this story, very likable. The story was filled with witty interaction, romance, and a few surprises along the way....a very Enjoyable story that will satisfy any romantic heart.
