After losing her first husband, Garrett, it took her several years to get over his loss, with the help and comfort of her second love, Tristan. Now married a year to Tristan, Sophie can't imagine a life better. But then Garrett comes storming back into her life, and determined to get his wife back, even though he has been gone all of these years. Sophie at first, knows where her heart truly lies, with Tristan. But being in such close proximity to Garrett again, has caused her to doubt her true feelings. But there is a danger lurking in the corners of her home, and with the help of Tristan and Garrett, she will try to uncover the truth.....and will find out who hold the key to her heart for once and for all....Even though for the most part part I found this to be a enjoyable story, it was my least favorite of the series. It might have been better if I had read it first instead of last, however I think it also had something to do with the love triangle that exists. I have to say I just loved Tristan, I thought he was the true hero....trying to fight for the woman he loves. Sophie on the other hand, wasn't my favorite. I understood how you can have mixed feelings, but I just felt like through most of it, she wasn't being true to Tristan, as much as I would have liked. Garrett, is a very complex character in this story, and at times you like him and at others you just wish he would go away. Although I did like the bit of suspensful portion of the plot, and the mystery that keeps the reader engaged in the story. I don't know if I would have kept reading, if it didn't have some positive aspects besides the love triangle. I will admit that there have been love triangles that I have been okay with, but this one seemed so forced and out of place, and wasn't the most easiest of books to read due to certain circumstances. Although toward the end I really enjoyed the story a lot more. Overall a fun and enjoyable story with intense moments that keeps one involved!!!
Will, is on a new mission, to find a pirate and a smuggler. On board his new ship, he heads to where he thinks he may be hiding. What he didn't expect to find was a woman and a child floating on a damaged boat, and none other than Meg Donovan. A Woman he thought was dead all these eight years, one he has only dreamed of seeing again. But she is not the woman he once knew, she has changed and so has he. Meg's life changed the moment she was thrown overboard into the sea eight years ago. She was kidnapped and held prisoner by a pirate, for eight long years and now she has been able to escape. When she see's Will again, she is overwhelmed with her past feelings for him. But when he proves to be just as caring and protective, she wonders if she can truly trust him with her secrets and the danger that follow her everywhere she goes...Pleasure's Of A Tempted Lady is the third in the Donovan Sisters series. I have to say that although I really enjoyed it, it certainly wasn't my favorite...and it was the one I was most looking forward to reading. I mean it had a strong plot, with witty interaction, and I really loved the mystery and intrigue that prevails in the story, and takes your breath away. However, the one thing I really didn't like is the lack of chemistry between Will and Meg. I mean it was there on the surface, but I really didn't feel it in the story. I felt reading through it, I felt like something was lacking in the love story. I also didn't really like Meg that much, I felt like she didn't treat Will very good, and was a bit spineless when it comes to love. She didn't exactly have the fighting spirit you see in the heroines in the others books written by this author. Even though there were some things I didn't like, it was still a very enjoyable read, and well written for the most part, and I would recommend it to anyone that enjoys this author.
After living a life of being sick and being coddled way too much, Olivia has come to England to live a peaceful and contented life with her sisters. Olivia knows that her chances of finding a husband who would accept her history of bad health, is very rare. So she doesn't even expect to find a husband in London. When her family goes to their estate in the countryside, she does there to relax and spend some quality time with her family. But then she meets Max, who awakens her independent nature and and sensual desires. Max, when seeing Olivia in a crowded ballroom in London, was captivated, and wanted only to know her more. Then he makes a foolhardy wager, to see who can seduce her the fastest. Only Max never thought that he would end up falling in love with her, and when his recklessness comes to kick him in the butt, he endeavors to protect Olivia at all costs...
Secrets of an Accidental Duchess is the second in the series, and I just LOVED this one!!! I think I read this in two hours....which only happens when I am really into a book, so this one was a winner, and I am totally addicted to this author. I just have loved every story I have read by her so far. There are different things that I really enjoyed about this story. Max is one of those hero's that you just fall for instantly. Even though he makes that ridiculous wager, you can see how much he starts to really care for Olivia. Olivia is just a ball of fun, she is sweet and innocent, but desires passion in her life. I just loved seeing Max and Olivia interact with each other, there was such a sense of playfulness, that really engages the reader. There was also lots of action and suspense portion to the plot, that really leaves one flipping the pages as fast as you can turn them. Overall a fun and suspenseful plot, complex characters, and a story that will capture your heart!! A Keeper For Your Shelf!

When Kate, on her way home, stops by her special place, a pool, she see's a bronze naked god of a man swimming, and finds herself watching him. And each night she watches him for eight days, but then one night, he looks right back at her and finds her hiding behind a bush staring at him. At first Garrett, is shocked when a young but beautiful woman is watching him from the bushes. Garrett knows he can't afford to trust anyone right now, especially a young woman who gazes at him with such trust and innocence. But then he realizes that Kate would never hurt anyone, and he finds passion in her arms, but that doesn't change his mission. Garrett has come to find his sister and rescue her from her husband, who is his enemy and who he has sworn to kill...until he finds out Kate is his enemy's sister. Now he is all mixed up inside, but when Kate proves that she is not who he thinks she is, he starts to fall madly in love with this woman who takes his breath away.A Touch Of Scandal is the second in the James Family series. I read the third recently and just fell in love with this author, and now that I have read the second one, I just love her even more and I am very excited to read her other books. I just love how she just draws the reader in from the first page of her stories and how enthralled one can become once fully entrenched in her stories. A Touch Of Scandal is such a heartwarming story, of the true power of love. I found both Garrett and Kate captivating characters. Garrett is such a wounded hero, with a lot of baggage to fight through (don't ya just love that, I know I do :) ) and yet I love the way he treats Kate (most of the time). Once he fights through his trust issues, he is so caring and gentle and protective of Kate. Kate is such a sweetheart, even though she cares for her brother, you can see where her loyalty lies, and I just love how she fights for Garrett and there were moments where I was just cheering her on. I especially loved her little brother, he seemed so cute and innocent. Overall a sweet romance that will sweep you off your feet with adventure, passion and a story about the power of true love.....A Captivating Read!

After hearing so many good things about Jennifer Haymore, I saw this book at the library and just knew I had to try her out, and see what I thought of her, especially since it was Christmas themed in a way. I found that I just fell in love with this book, and everything about it. Its one of those you aren't sure you will enjoy after reading the synopsis, but give it a try and are blown away by how wonderfully written it is. From the first to the last page I was spellbound by this beautiful story of love, trust and sacrifice. I just loved both Rebecca and Jack. Jack is the kind of hero you just want for yourself. He is doing something he hates doing, but you can see he starts to really care for Rebecca even though he is after her money.....Rebecca has suffered a lot in her life, and is fully devoted to her family but then she falls in love and it turns out both of them learn much about trust, and I just loved the ending... definitely a tearjerker. Overall a powerful and sensual novel that will sweep you off your feet and into the horizon!!! A ENTHRALLING TALE TO TREASURE!!!!
Erin, has been working for a Medical Center, and even though she enjoyed the benefits they had offered, when she realized that her boss was involved in several murders of innocent people, and she a witness, she fled, and is now on the run. Then her car collides with a hideous beast, but she is saved by a wolf. Then the next morning she awakes to find herself still with her car, and sleeping next to a gorgeous but very nude stranger, and this is only the beginning of the wierdness she will experience on this rocky journey with Jared. Jared is one of the Shadowmen who protect the Elan, who are in dangerous from evil creatures...and since he was injured by one of these foul creatures, he can feel the evil infection spreading throughout his body, and the only one who relieves the pain he feels is Erin's touch, but he knows that he is only a danger to her, and must end his life before he ends up killing her....
Touch A Dark Wolf, is the first in the Shadowmen Series, and the first book that I have read from this author. I didn't know from reading the blurb if I would really get into this book...however I really did. Although it was by far from my favorite shape shifter romance...it definitely had the suspense and fast paced action that I thoroughly enjoy in a good romance every now and then. It definitely reeks of enough danger to send one self careening over the edge, Such heart stopping moments up and down throughout the story. I sometimes felt like I was on a rollercoaster with this one....but in a good way. Its been a while since I have read a book with such intense emotion portrayed. I admit I was close to tears toward the end, not really knowing what would happen, but it ended on a happy note and I was fully satisfied! Definitely looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

Homespun Bride was a short and sweet story, and I was lucky that it came free on Kindle. Its about two people that once loved each other very much, but Noelle's father practically drove Thad away, now five years later, Noelle has lost her parents in a accident and in that same accident she lost her eyesight, and the man she was supposed to marry abandoned her because she couldn't see. Then when she and her aunt end up in a bit of trouble, Thad comes in like a conquering hero to save the day, and when she realizes who saves them, she is shocked to the core, and hurt at the same time, since she loved him more than anyone else, and he abandoned her without a word. However there is a love that is rekindled even brighter than before. I just loved the whole story, the characters were both so likeable and endearing, and it was such a fun short romance that ended up being a enjoyable read you can relax with.
Married At Midnight is four short stories written by four amazingly talented authors. Each story was very unique and even though very short, were all very entertaining and witty. The Four stories were 1. Determined Bride-Jo Beverly 2. A Kiss After Midnight -Tanya Anne Crosby 3. Scandal's Bride-Samantha James 4. Beyond The Kiss-Kathleen E. Woodiwiss. All of each story were beautifully written and carried on the theme of getting married quick, and the falling in love came after they get hitched, which a bit refreshing. Even though they were all too short for my taste, and I felt like there were some things missing as far as plot and characterization....that's the way it usually goes though with anthology, you always feel as though there is something missing....its why I don't read them too often. This time I felt like I hadn't read one in a while and its always good to shake things up a bit. Overall one of the best anthology's I have ever read, especially when these stories were written by some of my favorite authors!!! A Wonderful compilation of four love stories that will leave you thirsting for more!!! Very Entertaining and Fun!!!

Wyoming Bride is the second in the Johnstons Mail Order Bride series. I just loved this story and I am so glad I was able to get the ARC for it....since this is probably one of my favorite new series, and its awesome to read some historicals from this author since she usually focuses on contemporary's. Wyoming Bride is a beautiful love story about two people who are in a need of love and someone to hold onto. From first page to last Hannah I greatly loved...she has such strength and courage and you can't help but admire her...Flint on the other hand I had issues with....throughout most of the story he is always comparing Hannah to his brothers wife...and I just felt so much compassion for Hannah and I was totally on her side the whole way...but toward the end I started to like Flint but not love him because of the way he treats Hannah. Overall a great love story with many aspects that made it a enjoyable romance... A STORY TO REMEMBER!!!

Texas Bride is the ninth installment in the Bitter Creek series, but unlike the other books in the series, it is set in the 1800's, and having read most of the books in this series, I was very excited to read this one, and especially when I read the blurb, I couldn't wait to buy this one. Texas Bride, was a astounding read....and I just fell in love with both Miranda and Jake, both were the kind of characters that become deeply rooted. Both Jake and Miranda have gone through hardship in their lives, and only when they trust and love in each other are they able to heal and learn what it means to love. I just loved the conflict in the story on both sides, and it kept me on the edge of my seat most of the time, but at the same time I was just soaking up all the juicy details and Joan Johnston has become my favorite author again....one of my favorite things about this book would be the story line and the intimate connection that develops pretty quickly between Jake and Miranda....Definitely worth buying and reading!!!! A Treasure Of A Read!!!
