The Serpent Prince is the third installment in the series. After reading the first book in the series, I loved it so much that I desperately couldn't wait to read the rest of the books in the series, and I just loved reading The Serpent Prince. From the very first page, I found myself captivated until the very last page, and even though I wasn't totally into the story, there was still a sense of mystery and romance that pulled me in. The characters were engaging, and their interaction with each other scrumptious. I also enjoyed how their was a sense of purpose in the characters and their interaction with each other was fascinating...although there were parts that I couldn't bring myself to like....the other much captivating parts made up for it. The sensuality between Lucy and Simon were intense and can at times leave a reader breathless in anticipation for more to come....Overall a Succulent and juice read that will warm you from head to toe....

Melisande, has always had a fascination for Jasper, Lord Vale. She has been watching him from afar for years, knowing that he doesn't even remember who she is or even her name, despite the fact that she was the closest friend to his former fiancee and childhood friend. However, when she hears that he has been jilted from another engagement, she knows that now is the time for her to act upon her feelings, before its too late. Jasper, when Melisande comes to him with a marriage proposal is somewhat shocked, but accepts, hoping that he won't have a fourth jilted engagement. Jasper, desires to know Melisande, for who she really is, and goes about in a effort to woo her, even though they have already married. Although there is danger lurking around the corner, Jasper knows giving himself up to this woman he has married will be his only hope to heal his battered soul...To Seduce A Sinner is the second in the Legend of Four Soldiers series. In the previous book we were able to see Jasper, and I was excited to read his story... I loved all of the elements that were portrayed in this story. I think I just fell in love with the hero, although he has suffered much inner pain, he still manages to find a bit of joy in life. And even though we see his focus on trying to locate the identity of the traitor, we all see how attentive he is toward Melisande. There were some aspects I liked about Melisande, but throughout the book I felt like there was something missing about her, but one aspect I loved about her was that when she believed in something she didn't back down. I enjoyed the little side story involving the heroine in the next books as well. Overall a very beautifully crafted story with a touch of mystery and mix of romance, wit, and deep characters, to keep you enchanted...

Lady Emeline, a widow and a single mother, lives among the Elite among the Ton. Emeline then meets Samuel, who has a wildness that draws her in a way she would have never expected. Against her aunt's wishes, she finds Samuel irresistable, even with his wild ways, a man who isn't afraid of anything, and could care less what others think about him or what he wears. Samuel is here in England for one thing, and it isn't to make sure his sister has a fun time. Samuel is out to find the traitor that betrayed them in the Colonies, and where he lost many of his friends, and those that survived have all suffered scars of their own. However, although once he is put in the same room as Emeline, he decides that despite his true reason for being here, he can't resist Emeline, and knows he will never be content until he has claimed her as his...To Taste Temptation is the first in the 'Legend of the Four Soldies' series. I was way excited to get most of this series from the library, and I started with To Taste Temptation. I have heard many good things about this author, and I wasn't disappointed with this one. I found it to be a stunning start, and I just found I fell in love with the characters the more I got more into the book. Who can resist a man who wears mocassins to a ball just because they are comfortable LOL I found his certain disregard for everything proper entertaining to say the least. Emeline, is the kind of heroine who can relate with on some level. She has such a tender heart, even though it sometimes is hidden beneath her proper facade, when you can see she just can't wait for a opportunity to shed all of it to bare the true woman within. Such a delicious read, I had such a grand time reading this!!!!

Helene, the Countess of Godwin, has been married to her husband for over ten years. When she met him she was young and believed herself in love with him. They eloped knowing it would be against her parents wishes. It seemed to Helene that their marriage was doomed from the start. Since she found no pleasure in sexual encounters with her husband at the beginning only found pain, they started to drift apart. Now ten years later, Helene wants something she yearns for, a child. However when she goes to ask her husband for a divorce he denies her. Rees, The Earl of Godwin is a rake through and through. He is a scoundrel and has had many illicit affairs outside of his marriage. He is content with having a wife in name, and having passions in the flesh with other women with which he has no attachment to. When Helene asks him for a divorce, he is blunt with his answers, having no compassion for his wife's desires or wants in having children. Helene eventually leaves, after a long discussion that proved hopeless. So while with a friend out shopping one day, she decides that she needs a change. She wants to have a child no matter the circumstance in which the child is conceived. So she comes up with a plot, that will help her achieve such a goal. She cuts her hair ( knowing her husband loved her long hair ) and she buys new clothes, and in all appearances is a changed woman, since she is planning to entice a man to her bed. At the ball in which she will begin her plot, she comes face to face once more with her husband who knows of her plot, and makes her a offer she can't refuse. That he will be the one to help her conceive the child she so desires, but she has to come live with him for one month, in his town house where his current mistress is also living. Even though Helene wishes she could back off, she wants a child above the sake of her own pride. So she goes along with this scheme, and finds a passion and sensual delights that she has never encountered.

Its been quite some time since I have had the chance to read anything from Eloisa James in quite some time. I love the circumstances in which Helene and Rees are brought back together once more. At first they fight and argue quite often, and at time act childish to say the least. But as time progress, their attitude toward one another gentles and thus we start to see a flaming passion that rises between the two, one that they didn't even know existed. Rees, although I thought his character seemed very rude and insufferable at times, he also had some higher moments of course. There were times that he was a handsome, and caring husband toward Helene. Throughout the book you see him soften his attitude and become the true hero of the book. Helene, just sparked my interest from the first page. Helene of course, wants to have a child, after seeing her friends having babies of their own. She craves one more than ever now, and even though she seems to despise her husband that starts to change for him. For all their tense moments and heated arguments, there is also a tender love that blossoms between the two. It definitely will have you flipping page after page, wondering what is going to happen next, and when are they going to admit how much they love each other. This was a tender love story, and one that I am grateful to have gotten my hands on. Now I would like to read the rest of the series, having seen a couple of the other characters from other books, I am eager to hop to it!!!

Now that Max is back from his mission in europe with his time, he feels its time to settle down, get married and have a family, especially after giving the majority of his life in service to his country. At first he has a list of potential future wives that would suit his needs, that is, until he see's Daphne Starling, and he knows that she will be His. Even though Daphne has recently been jilted, he is drawn to her in a way that even he can't explain to himself. Daphne, has recently nearly been ruined by a past suitor, and she doesn't know what her future holds, until she meets the Marquess of Rotherstone, who is very charming and seductive, and she knows she could easily fall under his spell, and although they share an intimacy she has never known, she just doesn't know if she can trust him, when she knows he is hiding something from her......
Since I have been reading the series out of order, I have been wanting to read Max's story, and I was so glad that I did. The only real negative aspect of the story...was that it took a bit to get into the book, but once I did I was really into it, and it was just as fun and enticing as Foley's other works. It was interesting to see Max develop in the story, much more than we see Daphne develop. Max has alot against him, much of which he kinda does to himself a bit, but it was neat to see him change from a sexy but aloof and withdrawn man, to someone that is what Daphne really needs. Another aspect that I really liked was the way Max and Daphne connected, very intense and sensual yet had a perfect balance of excitement and romance to even it all out...a very enjoyable read!

When Kate is kidnapped from her home, drugged, and taken to the home of the Duke of Warrington, she doesn't know what to make of him. He is very mysterious, very handsome in a very sinful way, and he makes her body heat with just one look. However he is always questioning her, and she is the innocent one in all of this, but as they both get closer to the truth, the closer the danger gets, the more intense their desire for each other escalates into a powerful love even though they know its dangerous....My Dangerous Duke is the second in the series, and again I am reading this series out of order, but even though it would be nice to read it in order, sometimes I get too impatient, and I just grab what I can find. I have found that it can be read out of order, but then again I can catch on pretty easily....My Dangerous Duke starts out wit Kate being drugged, and you see that she is really courageous and faces up to Rohan not knowing if he is the type of man to rape or not, but she soon finds out that he is not what the legend say. Rohan, has stayed away from his home in the country for a very good reason, but now he has to be there at least for a little while. Rohan, is very suspicious of Kate especially through the first half of the book, however we start to see that once you bang your head enough then eventually you will start to see reason. It was pretty funny to see Rohan and Kate clash against each other, there was also a sexual tension through the whole story that keeps one captivated, and could fog one's windows if your not careful....I just loved the danger aspect to the plot, it just kept me on the edge of my seat the majority of the time, and the mystery was a perfect element to the book, and added a sense intrigue and excitement that becomes very engaging....and the detail of the events that happen are very vivid in a certain way.....A exciting thrill of a romance!!!

Emily Harper, has always loved Drake, ever since she was a little girl, even though their stations should have kept them apart, it only drew them together. Emily has always known of Drake's secret, being a spy and working for the government or also known as the "Inferno Club" When he is suspected of being a traitor, even to his brothers from the club, she knows only she still believes in him, and she must save him. So she travels on her own through Europe, to find him, and when she finds him...questions abound, and the situation she finds herself and Drake in will take them both working together and learning what it truly means to trust no matter the opposition, and even then it might not be enough......
My Ruthless Prince, is the fourth in the series, and the first book that I have read from the series. I have just loved Gaelen Foley, but for some reason I must be behind in the times or lost in a cave somewhere, but when I discovered these books at the library I knew I needed to read them...not even knowing which book is in order. However when I started reading My Ruthless Prince, I don't know I even got up once, I was so enthralled into the story...I mean the plot wasn't something I had never read at least the basics, however there was something that completely drew me into the story, the plot and the vivid portrayal of the characters. I think one of the things that kept me so involved into the book, was how there was surprise after surprise, things I would never suspect to happen, which definitely had me intrigued at the least. So if your in the mood for a good spy historical romance, I would recommend My Ruthless Prince and I am sure the rest of the books in the series so far....there is something almost magical about the way this author writes!!! You just won't be disappointed!

Louisa Shelby, once enjoyed a life full of parties and balls, but after her father died, Louisa and her two sisters were forced to find a means of providing for themselves. So Louisa decided to be a lady's companion. Now she has been requested to do a job as a companion to an elderly viscountess, only never expecting to find that she isn't really expected to be a lady's companion at all, since the Viscontess hardly needs one, but her granddaughter, is in desperate need to overcome her shyness around men especially. But there is also Simon Wade to consider, who after a accident with his horse, became blind. So now its obvious that she is there to help both of the younger wades, even though they don't know it. Louisa however never expected to fall in love with this man, who has stolen her heart from the first.
The Viscount In Her Bedroom is the last in the Sisters of Willow Pond written by Gayle Callen. I just love this author and I have loved this series, its such a tender filled romance, and even though I have read this before, its one of those that I could re read and still delightfully enjoy it. The Viscount In Her Bedroom is a story that involves two people that have both suffered, but in very different way, but they share a passion and as the story develops we see a enchanting love blossom. Such a beautifully written story with such detail it seemed at times that I was actually there in the moment, the characters were lively, and the story line very enticing, and before I knew it I was finished with the book. From beginning to end I was fully satisfied, and absolutely adored it!!!

My Favorite Quote
" I love you Simon, and I would be proud to be your wife. You see inside me where others only see what they want to see. You make me feel so precious and loved."
"Not damn near enough, and that will end right now" He drew her into his arms and kissed her.

Julia Reed through the help of Sam Sherryngton, secret agent who assisted her in getting her arrested for something she didn't do. So she is shocked to find that he rescues her, and she realizes how much he still cares for her, even though it wasn't her testimony that convinced him of her innocence. A Woman's Innocence is the third installment in the spy series written by Gayle Callen. I have just loved reading this series, its full of danger and intrigue and all the romance that you need. This story involves two people that up till now have never been able to pursue the feelings they both have for each other, but have never admitted it to each other. But now they are together and hiding, and have to learn to rely on each other, ant their love. This is a book that will intrigue you, and I found my self througout the whole of the book, flipping the pages as fast as I could read them, not getting enough, yet at the end fully satisfied by how it turned out. Such a enjoyable read!!! I would recommend this to anyone that enjoys historical romance, this is the book for you!!!

Miss Grace Banbury, has grown up with a mother who has a severe addiction to gambling, now she finds out that her mother lost in a high stakes game and they lost everything, including Grace herself. So when the rogue that won her and everything her family owns, she and Daniel Throckmorton come to a scandalous wager, where Daniel will try to seduce her as his mistress, and if Grace resists she will win back her father's violin where she could sell it to provide for herself and her brother. However things never go as planned, and Grace finds resisting Daniel Throckmorton alot more difficult than she ever thought it would be, and desperate to win such a wager. But who will be the winner of this dangerous wager?

Never Trust A Scoudrel is the first installment in the Scandal's son series that Gayle Callen has created for her avid readers.Grace has lived a proper life in Society, but her mother is a different story altogether. When she finds out what her mother has done to both her and her brother, she is at a loss as to where they go from here. But when she meets Daniel and battles wills with him, and comes to a agreement on a wager, she knows that she is in bigger trouble than she would have ever thought. Because Daniel tempts her to such sensual and wicked delights that she wonders if she can last the few weeks they decided on. Daniel Throckmorton, lost his father when he was younger, who was a great muscician, and his mother once had a passion for music. But loved his father so much, she lost that deep passion for music, and Daniel himself, even though quite talented with music, doesn't want to hurt his mother, so he refuses to pick up any instrument. However once Grace enters his life, he starts to wonder if she is the key to his very happiness that he has denied himself of for so long. This was truly such a wonderful story. Although even though I loved the plot to this story, I found that I couldn't get into the story as much as I have with her other books, I found the flow to be erratic at times, yet at others flowed quite smoothly. But once I got half way through, it started to even out a bit, and become more like her other stories that I have come to love. I will say that the ending was magical, and definitely had me shedding a tear or two (in a good way) and it was also good to see characters from her previous book The Visount In Her Bedroom too, all in all a truly wonderfully written story, that will make you fall in love with these characters that will steal their way into your hearts. A very captivating romance!!
