Okay,  I totally get the hype around this book!

I love the strong character development of the mcs. The way they help each other to overcome their insecurities and fears is so heartwarming.

Zee doesn't just tell Vee she's perfect the way she is, no, he shows her with everything he does.

In the end, I felt like it could've been a few pages less, but I absolutely understand the need for everything, so nothing felt rushed.

I can't wait to read The Right Move!

4/5 ⭐ (because I love Caelum)
3/5 🌶

I read some books while I had a little bookstagram break.

One of them was the Of Flesh and Bone series.

So, I had a little time to think about this series and it's still pretty hard to rate it.

I really liked it and this could be easily a 5 star series. But some things bother me.

First of all, the first book had some parts which were a little slow. There wasn't that much action, but that was absolutely okay because Caelum is such a great MMC, he made a lot of this story!

The second book was even slower and I had some moments where it was a little hard for me to keep going. And, the last 100 pages or so, it was great! This cliffhanger hooked me and I continued instantly with the third book.

This one was so thrilling I couldn't put it down! Until some super random things happened. I also missed stronger side characters. Caelum was there and the cute MMC we love but as a villain, he just wasn't badass enough for me.

The more I think about it, the more things have felt like a filler. And now I'm sitting here wondering why there will be six books when the third could've been an absolutely exciting final.

It kinda feels like things are dragging on too long and that's such a shame because this story had great potential and could've been easily a 5 star series. I could live with more books if there would've been more or better plot twists.

Don't get me wrong, I will continue this series because now I definitely need to know what happens next and I would still recommend it, because I'm in love with Caelum! Everybody needs to get to know Caelum!

But yeah, I had some things to criticize 🙈
