Continuing my Legacy of Gods series as I am going through I am realizing that maybe I should have read the parents books before but I can’t stop this series now I am in it so I may need to go back and read theirs. This is a couple that was kinda teased in God of Malice and I was here for them.

Cecily is a character that I can relate to being the mom of the group and I am happy that she gets her HEA. Jeremy was not expecting to fall so easily but he found the person that fits well with him. He just needs to listen to her and ignore the possessive side of himself sometimes.

The plot in this book was good however towards the end when the miscommunication third act break up happened I felt like it was rushed and disjointed. Even though that kinda bugged me I gave this book 4.25 ⭐️ and 3 🌶️ the k*nks in this book really were something and it was a very spicy book in my opinion.

I highly recommend this book or any book in the Legacy of Gods series but I suggest looking up the reading list first if you haven't read a book by this author.

Happy reading everyone 📚

I started this series 2 years ago and put it on hold but decided to add it to my A-Z challenge to make sure I finished the series. I loved book 1 and Killian Carson will be the OG psycho in the group but I have a soft spot for a grumpy MMC. I loved Creighton and how he was quiet and only spoke when he needed to and to pair him with the sunniest FMC in the series was perfect.

The plot in this book was good, the forbidden romance aspect because Anni is a very protected person by her brother and her parents. The added plot twist about Creighton’s past was something different. I gave this book 4.5 ⭐️ and 2.75 🌶️ the pain k*nk is not usually what I gravitate towards in a book but I was here for it with these two.

I highly recommend this series. I am continuing it as I want to get to the later books as I have heard they are the best in the series.

This is the first time I will write a review like this and hopefully the last. I know I should have looked up the reviews before but I didn’t and I read the first book in this series 2 years ago and still did not realize the author was problematic.

After I finished both books I gave #2 4.5 ⭐️ and #3 4.25 ⭐️ then I looked at reviews and did some digging and came back with the author not being nice to marginalized communities.

I have since changed my reviews to 1 ⭐️ as I will not support an author who does not know how to be a good human being and treat everyone with respect.

If this is an awakening for some readers when reading books to look at the reviews you are welcome as I will be doing that going forward.

I actually enjoyed the concept of this book and the Unfurl program at Alchemy. I loved the way the relationship changed between Rafe and Belle but I have to say the priest and nun role play kinda threw me out of the story. Although I do understand as both the main characters dealt with the oppression in the Catholic faith they wanted to break out of it.

I enjoyed the side characters in the book and I have heard great things about book 2 but at this time I think I will put the series on hold not saying I will DNF but who knows in the future.

I gave this book originally 4 ⭐️ but as I sat on it a bit I changed that to 3.75 ⭐️ however the spice was a 2.75 🌶️ because there were some scenes that really did hit especially the first one.

As I said this is a good book and I do recommend it if you like a virgin FMC who is discovering herself and uses a sex club to do it.

This is another friends to lovers book and follows Bailey and Lev. These 2 went different ways when Bailey left for Juilliard and even though they weren’t talking Lev was the first person Bailey called when she OD’d. When I was reading this I was shocked that this FMC was going to become an addict as I read her character in the other books and I could not see it.

The communication between parents and children again is terrible. Although Mel did not push Bailey she felt she needed to follow in her footsteps and graduate Juilliard and Lev felt that pressure from his dad to make it to the NFL. I am not a parent but I was told when I was younger I can do what I want. Why couldn’t these parents let kids follow their dreams?

The hard topic in this book is Dixie. A lot of people do not like her relationship with Dean but I think it will lead to a great friendship and co parenting that Dixie deserves. Even though she stayed because of Rosie she helped Lev and she did not have to. This does not diminish Rosie and how she loved all her boys. She was a great mom and wanted someone to be there for them.

I gave this book 4 ⭐️ and 2 🌶️ their first time in the forest was perfect for them but also the strip search at the pool 🥵.

I recommend this if you like friends to lovers and a heartbreaking story they have to overcome to be together.

I have never experienced a character quite like Vaughn well other than his dad Vicious. I realized why Vaughn acts the way he does and it is understandable. I felt like I knew the reason behind early on but did not know when it started and when he told his story to Lenny I broke for the boy who lost his childhood.

I listened to this and although I did enjoy it I did not like the English accent. There were parts that bugged me as someone who was born and raised there for 18 years. I got past this because I enjoyed the story and I was happy that Lenny was on Vaughn’s side to post the signs around the school that made me smile.

I loved that Vicious came to help his boy because he found out what happened and dealt with it like he does so his family can be safe. I gave this book 4 ⭐️ and 2 🌶️ this couple had a lot of chemistry and the voyerism they both experienced was hot but when Vaughn realized she was the only person he would have sex with that made it even more intense.

I recommend this if you like a tortured artist and 2 grumpy main characters that bring out a little sunshine in each other.

This is the book I would tell you not to read the first generation story unless you want your heart to be broken. Luna and Knight were childhood best friends and anytime they decide to take it further something or someone would get in the way. Then the lying started and Luna believed that her best friend was sleeping around so she decided to do the same.

This on top of the thought of losing his mom and his birth mom showing up led to Knight coping with drugs and alcohol just like his father did. Luna made a tough choice to break up with him to save him but also be his best friend while dealing with his loss.

I know most people do not like this book because of Rosie and I completely understand I was crying so much but I understand why it was needed for Knights story. I gave this book 4.25 ⭐️ and 2 🌶️ their first time at the water tower was 🥵.

I recommend this book if you like a friends to lovers and mute FMC who finds her voice again this is the book for you.

I did not realize this was a second generation series but I was lucky because I read the first generation series not that long ago. When I read that series I did not read the parents of the FMCs character as it was a prequel. I don’t think it is needed for the book.

Although I did enjoy this book there were some things that bothered me. I felt that this was so close to being like mean girls. Also, parents do not communicate with their children that are old enough to understand. The relationship between Daria and her Mom fell apart because they didn’t communicate properly.

I however loved the banter between Penn and Daria. I did not like his sister and in my opinion does not deserve to be forgiven. I gave this book 4 ⭐️ 2 🌶️ I loved that she saved all her firsts for him and he definitely took them.

I recommend this book if you like a broody boy and a snarky sassy princess. This is the book for you.

I waited a week to post my review because I needed to compose my thoughts. I loved this book and it is highly underrated. I loved the slow burn between the main characters and the plot was different to what I have read before but I enjoyed every part of it. I immediately knew that I had to buy a physical copy of this book and I was happy when I realized the author had it available. I can't wait to display it.

I mainly listened to this book on audible but I also bought the kindle version and the artwork inside is as beautiful as the cover. I gave this 5 ⭐️ and 1 🌶️ I loved the banter between the main characters although there was not much spice there was a lot of tension.

I highly recommend this book. I have already convinced people to start it and I will try to convince you. If you like a good romantasy with a good plot and a slow burn this is perfect for you.
