Loved seeing the twins get their story after their roles in earlier books. These 3 are very broken but work so well together. The suspense plot was fitting for their backgrounds and slotted into the relationship build up nicely. And I always love a Lexi Blake crossover moment.
Very much appreciate seeing a collection of sapphic paranormal romance, but sadly this one wasn't my favourite.
Book 3 of a 4 book fantasy romance series is quite a tricky place to be, but I thought this was a great example. Obviously I loved the relationship progression - the angst has been killer. The world story was interesting, and I loved seeing the sun kingdom again from a different perspective. Clearly with its series position the ending has made me desperate to continue.
It's been a long time since I read Rock Addiction, but was still excited for reading this from the teases in the overlapping storyline. I love how sweet these two are to each other, with all the understanding for how their pasts have shaped them. The memos they sent are incredible, and a definite highlight.
I didn't hate Mason as a hero as much as I expected. Enjoyed seeing characters from earlier books. The overall plot line was pretty interesting.
Everything resolved ridiculously and annoyingly easily.
It's been a long time since I read book 1, so I was worried how I'd find this.
There were definitely some world building aspects that took me longer to remember or understand, but definitely glad I picked this series up again.
Thorne has so many issue that it really makes sense he resisted the idea of being properly mated for so long.
Definitely intrigued for book 3.

Definitely would have been better if I'd read the Cougar Creek books first, but I still enjoyed this one.
The dynamic between the main characters was sweet. Did feel like everyone made peace a little too happily.

Great read for anyone caught up in wellness or diet culture, particularly those who like the science explanations. I've read a few other intuitive eating books previously, so the overall concepts were nothing new for me. But definitely a useful reminder and good to have a different angle on it. Just slightly ironic to have a book from a doctor talking about the dangers of getting nutrition advice from doctors!
