The darkness and the anticipation of darkness of this series is getting more intriguing but I will be reading this series slowly. I have one more volume that I own and I will take a break until next year. 

I will not spoil this manga series for you but this mother is making me uncomfortable and I still have not recovered from the letter incident in Vol 2. 

Now that I've gotten some more information about the mother, I am curious about her origins and family dynamics before she was married. 

This starts off slow... I am thinking about the relationships of the son and mother. 

This was a beautiful and heartbreaking story of family and figuring for kinship and people hunting you down. This story touches upon forced assimilation and different sides of “I’m not as bad as (insert persons)” through the eyes of people in a position of power. Characters in the story fought, cried, weeped, fought for their cultures, fought for their language, and the right to love. 

Phenomenal!

I am so surprised by the x-rated scenes in the book and I wonder if there are different types of vampires who are susceptible to certain things. The gore in this series is something to get use to for sure. I am mostly intrigued in the story lines, subplots of romance or siblingship.
