I loved this book!! Two critiques: Heavily centers Whiteness and Christianity and constantly reminds you how “plain” Kelsea is. Yeah, we get it, she’s “unattractive” can we plz move on? Besides those two things, I absolutely loved this story. The world is interesting and I still have no idea wtf is going on with that. I loved the action/battle scenes as well.

3.5 stars. Very cute, a lot more PG-13 than Intercepted and the characters are very likable. Really enjoyed it!

3.5 stars. I enjoyed this on audio, but I would have enjoyed it more reading the physical copy. I enjoyed the flashbacks until the very end. I felt like switching back and forth took away from both of the stories and their dramaaaa. Looking forward to reading the third book!

Hmmm...I’m not sure how I feel about the ending...I didn’t hate it but I also feel like it could have gone in a variety of other directions. I thoroughly enjoyed this whole trilogy though.

Pretty good short story. I think I enjoyed it more than The Beauty? I don’t even know how I feel about The Beauty. But I know I really liked this piece.
