i was skeptical at the beginning, but i actually think that hd carlton did a pretty good job w enzo’s character, although i still didnt like him that much. this could have used one more pass through editing, too.

at the beginning, i didnt think i was going to like this, but i was pleasantly surprised!! tracy macnish did a great job of bringing everything together in a way that was neither problematic nor unfulfilling

i prob wouldnt reread this, but i did enjoy it. the whole cast of characters was really well done! they did say ‘i love you’ too quickly tho, imo.

Diverse cast of characters: Yes

this was probably the most well-written book i’ve read from chloe liese; it didn’t make me cringe like the others have. that being said, i could have been more attached to the characters, and i didnt love how the conflict was done
emotional funny informative fast-paced

i’m not a huge steve martin fan, but i liked this! it could have been a little longer, but overall, i think it was well done. it was really cool to learn about the beginning of his comedy career. AND i love how he was just telling a story, not trying to make us feel bad for him, like most celebs do in their memoirs

i love frankie!!!!! and i love ren! and the conflict made sense to me. however, like all of chloe liese’s books that ive read, parts of it felt cringey and/or unrealistic
