this was the slay to end all slays. so good. tessa dare is sooo good. and the SOLDIERS. GRANT. i love them. my angels. this is a new comfort read for sure

i mostly enjoyed this! it had tessa dare’s charm, but the miscommunication bugged me and sometimes the men were too sexist. but i am so glad she cried!!! crying is good!! its a super fun book, tho

my least fav of the series so far. they were never really “enemies” and some of the dialogue felt unrealistic. the spice was decent but not my fav

def my fav juliette cross so far. except the conflict felt a little unreasonable and i wanted to SEE a scene of him telling her she was his mate and her telling him about beryl’s prediction 

this was such a good sweet, spicy, & low angst read!! SLAY for not having a 3rd act breakup!!!

this is so fun and sweet and easy and lighthearted!! really enjoyed!!

read for my early modern british lit class. it was fine, just really not what i was in the mood for to read rn.

this was my first sarah maclean, and i did like it, but it wasn’t my fav. the story was nice and all, and i know that maclean considers herself a “third act breakup evangelist,” but i really felt like king should have had to grovel more for how he acted.

and her family coming in at the end could have been done better imo
