one thing i love SO. MUCH. is long emotional speeches & conversations, and this FREAKING DELIVERED !!!!!!!

i dont love revenge plots, the conflict was predictable, and it took me a while to get into the story, but i ended up liking it! the writing was good, the ending was really nice, and i think the “she saves him right back” thing was really well done! i am intrigued to see what sarah maclean does w the rest of these characters in this series. 

i liked many aspects of this book, like the storyline, the lack of 3rd act breakup, and the mental health rep. but i didnt like the epilogue. i also didnt really like the characters’ personalities?? like i thought their mental health issues were well done but i didn’t really care about the people that they were outside of that, and i wasn’t attached to them. maybe that makes me shitty. idk. 

tessa dare is wonderful. this was just lovely. the female friendships. the male friendships. ALL the friendships. i wasn’t completely sold by the first half but the second half made my heart grow three sizes like the grinch. i love gabe & penny

this was fine. probs my least fav tessa dare. it has her signature charm + writing, but i didnt like bram that much and i didnt they were that good together. also im not obsessed w the whole military theme

i love tessa dare so much !!!!!! colin got on my nerves a few times, but i was completely sold by the end :) also i liked the lack of a 3rd act breakup❤️ there was some miscommunication, but it felt pretty realistic 

this slayed just as much as sarah maclean said it would!! i love mckenna. and the secondary love story was awesome as well

this had the signature kate bateman charm & sense of adventure, but i wished the characters were a little more developed. i appreciated the lack of a baby in the epilogue tho!!!!

i love caleb so much!!!! i just wasnt as invested in the story as i could have been

this was so sweet and cozy!! the found family was everything!! and i think thimble might be my favorite man of all time💞
