this was cute & sweet & fun, but not my favorite from tessa dare :)

the character development in this was wonderfully done!! the story was a little slow, though. and i didnt love the helen/winterborne storyline; i would rather only hear about their relationship in their book

the secondary romance was nice, and i liked toby, but the pacing of isabel’s character development was weird, and i didnt love the interaction between toby and sophia. i liked seeing the past characters, but i didnt really appreciate the scene of lucy giving birth, especially because i felt like there was no closure at the end of it. i feel like if shes gonna bring in old characters, the interactions should be mostly positive, because thats what readers want to see

this was nice! the background of her having an ed was super impactful, and i absolutely LOVED phoebe’s character. she was awesome. easily my fav character in this

this was sweet! i wasnt as attached to the characters as i could have been, but i liked the plot, the glimpses of other characters, and the ending was sweet :) also, i wished that the “childhood friends” aspect was developed a little further 

this was nice. i liked the relationship between artemis & celeste. i liked the way it was plotted. but i just didnt care about the characters that much, and i didnt love the writing. + some of the tropes weren’t my fav (age gap, single dad)
